Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am no longer living in Knoxville,TN. We have moved to Port Saint Lucie,FL. I began to assemble a family tree in an effort to learn more about my predecessors, to find out more about who they were, what they did, where they lived and what became of them when they passed on. This project led me to Findagrave and thanks to other Findagrave members I was able to learn where many of my relatives were buried and see their markers. As family members are scattered around the country it is difficult if not impossible to visit them all. As a way to pay back the kindness of those members taking photos for our family, I began taking photographs of headstones for others and creating memorials. It has become an interesting and relaxing hobby. If I have created a memorial page for a relative of yours and you would like it transferred to your care just let me know. Also, please keep in mind when you request a photo that many cemeteries are large and not well marked. Without information about the plot location the plots can be time consuming to find. Try to contact the cemetery by mail or phone and obtain any info. about the plot location to help myself and other Findagrave volunteers find your loved ones resting place and take the photo you desire. I would also like to give special thanks to Robert A. McGinnis. Robert is the Knox County Cemetery Historian and his efforts in researching and documenting all the cemeteries in Knox County, Tenn. and many in surrounding counties have been a great help to those of us that walk the cemeteries in search of headstones. Thank you Robert ! Questions pertaining to interments at Old Gray Cemetery in Knoxville should be directed to Alix Dempster at 865-522-1424 or info@oldgraycemetery.org. Quite often she has additional information relating to those interments.

Knox County Civil war Soldiers.
I am working on a project to identify the last resting places of many of our "old soldiers" that had ties/ roots in Vermont. I have found that you contributed marker/monument photo's for several memorial pages in Knox County. There may be others I haven't seen yet. May I use these photo's to post on the Vermont C.W.site? (www.vermontcivilwar.org)

You will receive credit for this.
Thank you for your consideration

Transfer
Thanks very much for the transfer. It is greatly appreciated. And I wasn't just complimenting your photography so you'd transfer her to me. They're really nice pictures.
Thanks again.

RE: Stephen Miles
Thanks for adding the notation to his memorial.
I was wondering why they reordered a headstone since there was no date on the headstone in the first place unless they realized their mistake before the first headstone arrived.
Thanks for the correction.

Isaac Fiender
Would you please consider transferring Isaac Fiender to me? He is a ggg uncle of mine who died at age 17 in the Siege of Knoxville. He never married or had children, so I would like to see that he is memorialized in the best way possible. Unfortunately, the government spelled his name wrong and I am beginning to work with the VA in getting this corrected. If I can get his name corrected on the Find A Grave entry as well and I have control of it, I can post some of his Civil War documents on the site that I obtained at the National Archives.

Thanks for considering it!

RE: Infant Osborn
ok thanks. I probably had a brain fart. Not an easy cemetery. Beside being large, it has several yellow jackets nests and a skunk that likes to roam around, lol! Lots of distractions.

D, W. Crawford #2967704
Note that the name on the headstone is for David Crowfoot but the name on the memorial is for D.W. Crawford.
