I've been involved with genealogy for about 18 years, and feel that if we don't record our history for those waiting to be born, it will be lost.|

Just wanted to thank you for the Saunders transfers. I really appreciate it and thanks for adding them to this cemetery in the first place. Your time and kindness is appreciated.

Thank you so much for taking the photo of Margaret Cook's headstone.
Could you please also put the pic on Margaret's husband, Charles Cook's memorial #116318460, or if you would allow me to do it, I can.

Thank you for posting the grave marker for Rough Rider Ray V. Clark. It provides validation to the research I'm doing. Best Regards,

Oh. I live in Waverly, Iowa, but went north about 20 miles to Nashua to do some Find A Grave photo requests. I am not related.
Some sections of the cemetery are old, and you can't read some of the stones...scant inscriptions, black fungus, that other gray gunk, etc. I think Oak Hill is a humid cemetery because of Iowa weather and all the trees which are lovely and provide a shady walk, but make it a haven for fungus or whatever on those stones.
I took every HALL I saw as there were requests for Hiram and John. I didn't find THEM, of course.
The caretaker always drives around when I'm there...must have someone watching to see visitors who stay too long perhaps.
I will just have to ask him for a layout and do requests that way because I always miss some up there.
I don't know what I can provide as I am not familiar with many Halls around, but let me know if I can do something to help you.

I was just saying if you wanted me to remove the photo since there was already one there, I would. I will leave it.

Thank you very much for taking and posting the photograph.
