Bio and Links
Bio Photo My grandmother was the first person to interest me in genealogy with all her old family photos and scrapbooks full of newspaper articles. I remember picking the peonies from her garden and then visiting the cemeteries to place them on gravestones.

This fern peony was grown and nurtured in Rosalie Haymond's garden. After her passing, the peony now has a place of honor in our garden. This peony is now placed on graves out of respect and in remembrance of our ancestors.

There is a special place in my heart for all the infants and children that are the only member/s of their family to be buried at a particular cemetery. Find a Grave is a wonderful way to reconnect these children with their parents and families.

As a way to give back and help other searching families, we walk small cemeteries and then add the names that aren't already on Find a Grave. I photograph all the stones and add the photos to the memorials that are missing photos.

If you are related, we would very much like to hear from you. If we have a memorial for one of your loved ones, please contact us by clicking the edit tab on the upper right hand corner of the memorial and then clicking the suggest a correction link to ask for a transfer. Let us know your connection.

RE: Bluemont Cemetery
You're welcome!
I found all of them on Haymond Street, inside the cemetery. All of the roads that go through the cemetery are named after a person or after a family name. So, if you're ever there and want to visit their grave sites, Haymond Street is the place to go.

Hi K, I sent you an email but got a bounce back. So, I was looking at my Grandpa's f.a.g. page and saw that you left a memorial flower. Are you a relative to him? He's Russell Buchanan from La Porte, IN.

If you would like me to put flowers on the site, please let me know. I too have family at this cemetery so it would be no trouble.
