Additional Photos
Walter - I've just realized you've taken a couple of photos in other cemeteries (besides Gore Twp) that I would like to use as well. I assume your permission would apply to those too but if not, please let me know.

Thanks so much!

Gore Twp Photos
Hello! You have taken a couple of headstone photos at Gore Twp Cemetery that I would like to attach (with appropriate credit given) to my tree on Ancestry.

May I please have your permission to do so?

Thanks for considering my request. :)

Finnish graves in Jacobsville Cemetery
Dear Walter,
Thank you for your exacting work on our local cemetery and nice to see you are in Baraga! So close! I have suggested an edit on the Hauta(la) grave because based on my limited knowledge of Finnish, it would appear that Untti (Andy) is the person buried here, not Matti who is his father. I've asked Finnish-speaking friends and roughly translated, this marker reads "Here rests Matti Hautala's and Leontiina's (?) son (Poika) Untti," and the dates. Some of these stones are so worn as to be nearly illegible. But generally the pattern seems to be to list the parents' names, son/daughter, then the child's name. Sad to see so many of these kids died young. There is also an iron cross, crudely engraved with a number of names...perhaps these folks died in an epidemic...the flu? I will have to investigate further - easy since I live only a couple of miles away. Best, Donna

Ackley Family
I just thought I would let you know where I got the proof for the Ackley family that I posted for editing on Find A Grave.
Death records before 1920 the Archives of Michigan.
Death records after 1920, the 1921-1952 records on FamilySearch.org
Also for Phoebe Wright Ackley her mother obituary.
Thank you for your time and help.

Thank you
Mr Sands - thank you so much for the photos you posted. I am wondering if I may have permission to copy them to post with my family tree?
