Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been transcribing cemeteries for a few years, many here in Somerset County, NJ.
I do a lot of research in Penna, both York County and Snyder County (family/college). I've begun to try to update a Snyder county book (Wagenseller) of Snyder County graves that was published about 1900, focusing on, but not exclusively, those cemeteries NOT included on the Snyder County website.

I am happy to transfer memorials to family members per Find A Grave rules. And if you are not directly related, I do updates once a week. Please use the Edit tab, once per memroial, and I'll add what ever information is appropriate and cite you as the source in the Notes section. PLEASE ONLY ONCE PER MEMORIAL - I cannot be responsible if your multiple requests do not go through, and lately there have been too many requests (multiple pages) to identify duplicate memorials. The issue has been that a subsequent request overwrites a prior request. Hopefully they will eventually fix that. Thanks for your understanding.

RE: Daniel Ehrhart
I have a tin type photo album which has 20 or so pictures that I'm sure are Gemberlings but have only figured out who a few are. One of Philip Gemberling b. 1773. Several of his daughter Lydia and I have her birth cert. Anyway, would be great to figure out who they are but I don't know how. Small world.

The first diary that I found was by Joseph Lumbard who was a newspaper guy in Selinsgrove but he also was in the 147th Co. "G" of the PVI. My great great grandmother was a Gemberling who married John Parks and their sons and cousins are mentioned in those diary's. It's interesting!

I'm not a relative at all. I was reading the diary and decide to try to find some of the people mentioned and add the info to their bio or create a site for them. I felt it was important for them not to be forgotten.
If I do transfer it I would like to have mentioned that the Civil War info came from me. OK

Daniel Ehrhart
I moved him to Nashville and found records he was from Selinsgrove so I added that. I think I found the Samuel who was from Indiana.
Thanks for the correction.

Hi Steve, Please send me a Find A Grave# of someone that is buried in the Zion cemetery so I will put Ronald in the correct cemetery. There are four Zion cemeteries in Snyder County and none lists the township location. Thanks, Leo Shelley
