I see on Hulon's memorial that you indicate his parents as Wilmer Ira and Maude Reddoch. My stale file on him has his parents as Edgar Elnathan Rogers and Della Thames.
Unfortunately, since he died at an early age and was born/died between censuses (1906), census is no help in resolving parentage.
Do you have definitive information on which set of parents he actually belongs to? Looks like his birth year fits into either family's time slot, so that is no help either.
Thanks, Ron Idom, Rogers descendant, mother was Lillian Louise Rogers.

Thank you so much for writing. I am going to send you some info on the Rodgers soon. In the meantime, I was noticing that the 1850 Jones Co., Census has the birth year for William Dossett estimated at 1775. I know that many times the birth ears are off, however. Do you have any sources for the 1785 birth year? Thank you so much for any help. -Jenn

Are you related to William Dossett of Jones Co., MS? I was just wondering because I have been researching the Rogers family that is related to him, and I noticed that you were the creator of his memorial on find-a-grave.
I look forward to hearing back from you.

|C. Granberry||RE: John Lewis Bryant's death|
I had the opportunity yesterday to visit Providence Baptist Church and to read the minutes of Providence Baptist Church October 1818 - June 1895. There is an entry in the document which reads, "6th Nov 1824 Received Sintha Bryant by letter." and again an entry which reads, "Oct 30, 1863 Sister Sintha Phillips requested a letter of dismission which was granted." So, I believe Sintha is Sintha Peacock Bryant Phillips; although, on her headstone Sintha is spelled Synthia.
If John Lewis Bryant was killed by Indians before arriving at their destination as is told in oral history, and I too believe that he was, then 1832 as his death year appears to be wrong. Could it be that his death year was 1823 or 1824? Food for thought, John. I just thought you would be interested in what the Church records show.

Thanks so much for connecting Joe K with the rest of his siblings. He was the last one, but now they are all properly attributed.
And thank you for all your good work,
Sally Seay Smith
