Contact me using the EDIT button on the Memorial you have a question about (quickest way) or you can leave a public message.|
Am related to 90% of Memorials I've posted and may have more info on the individual(s) including info for relatives I have not yet posted.
A HUGE thank you to those who have helped update memorials by adding data and/or photos and to those who have graciously transferred memorials to me. There's a lot of hard work by a lot of great contributors on this site!
I am blessed when I can share my work with others and welcome questions and/or corrections. If I've made a transcription error...let me know, politely, if you find one.
Feel FREE to use the tombstone photos I have taken!!
However, personal photos that I own/have taken and posted here have been copied and placed on other sites without my permission. Please ask and I will most likely allow it based on:
1) where it is being posted and
2) proper attribution given, i.e. "posted by Cherie in OC on Find A Grave" ONLY so that anyone wanting more info can contact me about the origin of photo or to obtain more information. I've been in the position of asking someone about a photo and have been told they didn't know anything about it, they just copied it and couldn't remember from where!
NEED HELP? FREE and not kidding. I'm not a certified genealogist, but have over 14,000 hours of genealogy research for myself, and others, since 2001. Started when I was 14 with a gen chart that included 3 generations with about 40 people. I still have the original chart! I love trying to find obituaries and solving brick walls and would be happy to help with yours... Leave a message with what you are trying to find and I will see what I can *ahem* "dig up"

Thanks for the info regarding Darius Cole Jr at Rollin Friends Cemetery.It has been added to his memorial.
I love what you did with the 1968 Tigers
OMG i grew up watching every game with my dad and if we couldn't watch it, then we was in the car listening to it...I grew up in Kalamazoo and dad always made sure us kids went to bat day, and hat day at Tiger Stadium.. Got my self a nice Kaline bat :).. Those were the days though going to Detroit and watch the tigers or the Lions. That was a big deal back then. gotta love the 60ies and 70ies

Whoa! I've been away from this for TOO LONG! Good to see you!
|Tamera Valdez||Sylvanus Allen Grave|
Hi! My Dad just noticed that you'd left "flowers" on Sylvanus Allen's grave in Harrison Cemetery in Kalamazoo co. MI. Sylvanus is my 3rd Great Grandfather and our genealogical brick wall. My Dad, Richard Allen, has been working on all of the various lines in our family tree for decades, but of course, Sylvanus is the person we'd most like to trace - as we are Allens. We were wondering if you are somehow related to him. I noticed that you also list Spencer Allen, and he is the brick wall of our cousin Steve Allen of Michigan - whom we found through Family Tree DNA testing. My Dad and Steve are both of the George Allen of Sandwich, MA line as proven by DNA. However, we haven't been able to trace our Sylvanus and Spencer back to Old George as of yet.
Just thought I'd touch base with you to see if you are related to Sylvanus somehow, because we leave no stone unturned! :-)
Thanks so much!
Tammy (Allen) Valdez
