While I had used Findagrave for several years, I finally became a member while working on a church history project. Later, I added memorials for my family, and then, I started photographing and adding entire cemeteries. My main interests are my family cemeteries and African-American cemeteries. I mostly photograph during the summer and add memorials during the winter. Several cemeteries are ready to be added when time permits.

I try to take care of the many suggestions that come in as soon as possible. However, there are now so many of you finding your relatives and wanting more information added to their memorials, that I can't get it all finished while on my work break. I do not want to take time out from entering more memorials, so I will no longer be adding places of birth and death unless they are written in such a way that I can just copy and paste them into the bio section. The work computer is slow and using the drop down menus takes a lot of time, especially when you forget to send the county name.

Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN, has been completely photographed. Most plats are already finished being added. There are just a few still in the process. Cemeteries that have been completely photographed (except for new burials) and added are:

RE: Francis Knaebel
You certainly may use my Great-Uncle's photo. All I ask is that I get to see what you end up with on your research! Thanks!

Btw, somewhere in my archives is the congressional correspondence with my Great-Grandmother seeking her 16-year old's return from the Army (as he was underage and without her permission).

Blessings,

Please correct a duplication at Fairview Cemetery: Martha Sago, #81988652 (your entry) was previously added to Fairview in 2008, #30880528. Thank you.
