Bio and Links
While I had used Findagrave for several years, I finally became a member while working on a church history project. Later, I added memorials for my family, and then, I started photographing and adding entire cemeteries. My main interests are my family cemeteries and African-American cemeteries. I mostly photograph during the summer and add memorials during the winter. Several cemeteries are ready to be added when time permits.

I try to take care of the many suggestions that come in as soon as possible. However, there are now so many of you finding your relatives and wanting more information added to their memorials, that I can't get it all finished while on my work break. I do not want to take time out from entering more memorials, so I will no longer be adding places of birth and death unless they are written in such a way that I can just copy and paste them into the bio section. The work computer is slow and using the drop down menus takes a lot of time, especially when you forget to send the county name.

Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN, has been completely photographed. Most plats are already finished being added. There are just a few still in the process. Cemeteries that have been completely photographed (except for new burials) and added are:

Mary Ann Summitt
I was wondering if I could manage this grave, because Mary Ann would have been my two wonderful baby's Great Grandmother, and Thomas Summitt was there Great-Grandpa, until he died in 2013, after the tragic death of his Grandson John Thomas Sutter, my love?

Barth and Ottnad graves in Fairview Cemetery
Thank you so very much for taking and posting the pictures of the graves of Catherine Ottnad (my 2nd gr-grandmother), her daughter Elisabeth Barth (nee Ottnad), and Elisabeth's husband August Barth, and so many of their children.

Catherine Ottnad emigrated from Germany, leaving Bremen on the ship Allemania and arriving in New York city on 14 June 1880. She was 63 at the time and arrived with my gr-grandfather Eugelbert (Frederick Oscar) Ottnad, age 35. She went on to New Albany to live with he daughter Elisabeth while my grandfather Eugelbert (better known as Frederick) went to Cincinnati to live.

I certainly appreciate all the work you have done. It has helped me greatly to fill out that branch of my family tree. Thanks so much!

George Huff #76467523
Hello and thank for posting George and the gravestone photos for George, Moses and Belle. George, Moses and Belle are on one headstone and then there is a stone for another George. Their father's name was George....there are no dates on it...do you know who would have those records? Thank you....Lora

Redens
I am pretty sure that the gravesite of A. W. Redens (No. 85323018) is the grave of a relative of mine, W. W. Redens. The first letter on the gravestone looks fuzzy, but I think it may be a "W" rather than an "A." And the photo of grave No. 92807158 is not readable on line but is listed as belonging to "W. W. Redens." That grave lacks a date of birth or date of death. I believe A Redens was the father of W. W. Redens. I would greatly appreciate transfers of the photos (particularly if they are clearer or if there are other copies available). Thank you.

Elizabeth S. Payne
She was such an excellent genealogical researcher that is is really a great shame that her own people aren't linked yet.

Sieboldt/Johnson/Mitchell in Fairview
I have put in a number of links joining these people that are waiting to be accepted including the two marriages of Margaret Mitchell Johnson Sieboldt: Richard Johnson in 1887 and Eduard Sieboldt in 1901. I hope you can get to them. I tried to add Richard Johnson to his wife but there seems to already being a link pending.

I also added Elizabeth Sieboldt Payne who died in 1991. Her obit says Fairview where all of her family are although a friend told me she was cremated. I would assume her husband M. Arthur Payne is also here but there was no listing for either. I only know he died before she did. I am wondering if the graves were marked? Perhaps not because you picked up other family members and I assume her ashes are near them.

I was at Fairview a couple of years ago and couldn't find anything since it was so big. There was no one in the office to ask. LyonsLW@aol.com
