While I had used Findagrave for several years, I finally became a member while working on a church history project. Later, I added memorials for my family, and then, I started photographing and adding entire cemeteries. My main interests are my family cemeteries and African-American cemeteries. I mostly photograph during the summer and add memorials during the winter. Several cemeteries are ready to be added when time permits.
I try to take care of the many suggestions that come in as soon as possible. However, there are now so many of you finding your relatives and wanting more information added to their memorials, that I can't get it all finished while on my work break. I do not want to take time out from entering more memorials, so I will no longer be adding places of birth and death unless they are written in such a way that I can just copy and paste them into the bio section. The work computer is slow and using the drop down menus takes a lot of time, especially when you forget to send the county name.
Fairview Cemetery in New Albany, IN, has been completely photographed. Most plats are already finished being added. There are just a few still in the process. Cemeteries that have been completely photographed (except for new burials) and added are:
Clark Co., IN Sellersburg
Floyd Co., IN Atkins Bailey Dawson Finley or Findley Freedomland Grant Line United Methodist Church Holy Trinity (rear half only) Leyden Ross Saint Mary Catholic, New Albany Stinson Walker

Her obit reads:

Mrs. Whalen was a native of South Carolina, but had lived in this city for three quarters of a century. Besides Mrs. Greenaway, she is survived by two sons, James Whalen, of Monroe City, Ind., and John Whalen, who lives in Missouri. She was the widow of Edward Whalen.

The date is correct The death in Oceola Fla may have been an uncle I am a great fan of Find a grave and have joined but I still like to let other people change their own entries Thank you for so much hard work. 2nd request Greeting Douse - I contacted you in December regarding an incorrect entry. I am a first cousin of Goldie "Peggy" Evelyn Reed and she has a Find A Grave entry. You show her spouse as Forrest Elwood Goldman (memorial # 61780738) and that is incorrect. Her spouse was Gerald Alexander Goldman, born December 18, 1918, died June 16, 2013. I am sure that he is buried next to her in the Sellersburg, IN cemetery. Would you please make this correction? If I can offer any information that you need, don't hesitate to let me know. Thank you kindly. Dennis Reed

Thank you Thank you from the bottom of my heart! I found my great grandmother Ruth J Adams Morgan at the Sellersburg Cemetery. I could only hope someone posted her as I did a search of all the cemeteries in Clark County. I'm hoping to travel to Sellersburg and take a picture of her grave soon!
W. W. Redens #92807158 Sorry--you have the grave labeled W. W. Redens, but there is no listing for a grave under that name in the cemetery. There is a listing for A. W. Redins with similar information (at least as to death) but the cemetery records do not show a stone location and one could not be found. Thank you. I would like a copy of the photo if at all possible under the circumstances so that I might photoshop it. Thank you again.
