Bio and Links
Bio Photo Our ancestors and their collateral relatives lived, loved, laughed, and died. They deserve more than a name and birth date, and a date of death as if they are boxes on someone's check list. I enjoy bringing them to life when ever I can. Records are important, but giving our ancestors humanity is even more important. Census pages may tell not only where and when people lived but also how they lived. I try to take a middle ground between those who insist on absolute proof about everything, and those who follow mythical paths into the mists of antiquity. Thank you to all of you who take the time to post and remember those who have passed before us.

RE: John Price
Diana,
If you have any additional information about Mr. Price, would you please send it to me? I'll go to the library and look at several old cemetery books and see if I can find him. Are there any other relatives buried in Oakwood?

James Tobias Cline
Hi Diana,
My husbands' Grt, Grt Gpa James Tobias Cline is buried in the Indianapolis Cemetery, just west of Osawatomie, KS. James was born in 1820 and died 3-12-1874. Do you have any information on this gentleman?
Thank you

William Forbes at Forest Home Cemetery
Good evening Sir/Ma'am. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to contact Forest Home Cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) for your photo request(s), ask them whether or not there is a grave marker, and then either post this information to the memorial or send it to me.

Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772

Should you choose not to accept this mission, your photo request will most likely continue to go unfulfilled. This message will not self destruct in five seconds. Good luck! Ace

Forest Home is a massively humongous cemetery with well over 100,000 burials, and the information is vital in order to photograph a grave for you. Forest Home disavows all photo volunteers, refusing to aid them in finding graves, so your mission is indispensable and integral to helping fulfill your photo request.

From the Find A Grave Dossier: All personnel are advised that Find A Grave states it is the responsibility of the photo requestor to provide the grave plot (section and lot number) to assist the volunteer photographers.

Mission Success: Last year I successfully completed 200 photo missions at Forest Home Cemetery that had the grave location provided by the photo requestor. In just over a year I have successfully concluded over 1,400 photo missions with over 600 already successfully completed in 2014.

Florence & Channing Little
No headstone for either seen, but you may wish to contact the cemetery to see if stones were actually placed, or if hidden from view, as sometimes happens especially with flush stones.Telephone: 216-421-2665, Fax: 216-421-2415
E-mail: info@lakeviewcemetery.com
The cemetery online burial records list both an Annette B. Little, died 4/12/1920 and a Mrs. Annette P. Little, died 6/3/1920. Do you know if there were two Annettes who had different middle initials who both died 1920, or is this a mistake on the cemetery website, possibly one person with middle and maiden names beginning with B & P or vice versa? Find a grave only lists Annette B, but headstones in photo states Annette P. I would like to make it accurate. See photo caption for more information. Also, did you remove the request for Channing because I no longer see it.

RE: Anyone have Info on this man?
Looking for info on James Tobias Cline, born 1820 and died 12 March 1874. He is my husbands' Great Great Grandpa. I myself grew up in Greeley, KS, only about 10-12 miles from Osawatomie. My hubby grew up in Oklahoma City,OK. He was shocked when I was able to show him he has ancestors in Kansas and SO close to where I grew up. If you have any info that would be awesome. He was married to Thursey Louise Houghland Cline and then later to a Deborah Vanderslice Goins Cline

Anyone have Info on this man?
Hi,
I am trying to trace my husbands genealogy. Does anyone have any info on where they lived, or what happened to his wife after he passed away?
Thanks for any help!

New "Automated" Process for Edit
Hi Diana -

A "Automated" system for the "Suggest A Correction/Submit an Edit" process deployed by FindAGrave on 12/5/2013.

Go to your Contributor/Profile page.
Look in the upper right corner. You should now see a tab called "Edits" - check there to see if any have been submitted to you.
Then just review and accept.

Please note: You still will get e-mails to add info to bio section or family links (children to parents / spouses to each other).

Thank you for all of your contributions to FindAGrave.

Hooked On Family
Luthera Thompson
Diana,

I have done a little more looking on the Thompson family and Luthera: 71309950.

Are you on Ancestry.com? I created a tree for her.

From what I can gather, her parents were John H Thompson (b. 1837 - ?) and Harriet Ward Thompson (b. 1844 - ?).

I think she had two brothers: Henry W and Frank F.

I didn't find much on Henry W. I don't know why. He is in the 1870, 1880 and 1900 censuses, then nothing. I wonder if his middle name is Ward which is his mother's maiden name.

Frank Frances Thompson
Birth 3 Mar 1869 in Illinois
Death 7 Feb 1940 in Riverside, California
m. Sadie Tyler (1878-?) and they had four children: Lola A (1906-1949), Frances L (b. 1911) female, Tyler F (1915-1994), and Harry Ward (b. 1918-?). They all lived in CA.

I don't know how she is buried at Paton, Iowa as no census has them living there. There are other Thompsons buried at Paton. There is a Mary, and Mary is John's mother's name, but I think this Mary is 10 years older than his mother...

Anyhow, maybe this will help. I've posted it all on Luthera's memorial page.

Marilynn
