Bio Photo Hello to everyone,
I retired from the Post Office in 2009. As a favor to my Mom, I started researching our family trees. I still can't believe how adictive it has become. I search out grave stones as my final documentation. Besides, I like knowing where my relatives are. Also, I really enjoy being able to leave flowers for the ones I can't visit.

Many of my photos are taken while strolling through cemeteries. If I am trying to fulfill a photo request, I will take pictures of all stones that I come across with the same name. Maybe they're kin or maybe someone will be looking for a long lost relative. I have found a lot that way.

I will be more than happy to transfer any memorial that I may have created as long as you are a relative. I love to see the pictures and other family information being added, that truely makes it a memorial.

My family trees include Blanton, Jarrell, Carter, Sieber, Johnson, Weber, Cline, King, Mathews, Taylor, and Waller, just to name a few.

Wrong Picture
Hello, I stumbled on this site when helping with tracking down some family information. My Great Aunt Flossie Roberts was one that we stumbled upon, and the picture you have of her is actually her sister in law Mary Eveyln Tingle (Fagan). Which is my grandmother.

Elvy was a half sister to my father, Charlie Harold "Doc" West. In papers that my mother had of our family she had her name as Elvira Melvina "Elvy" West Taylor. She also had that Elvy was born in Mississippi.

I was told by a grandson, Joe Taylor, a judge from Durant, Oklahoma that Elvy lost her leg when she was riding on a wagon. She had been holding a baby when she was asked to take over the reins of the team of horses. She turned around to hand the baby back to someone in the buckboard and accidently knocked over a shotgun that was laid against the wagon seat. It went off and hit her in the leg.
