I am researching the following surnames:
BENNETT - BLACK - CAMPBELL - CASH - CONLEY - GEORGE - HARNED - HARTMAN - HILLYARD - KNAPP - McINTOSH - McKENZIE - PARSONS - RAGER - SHANER - SOWLES - TANNER - TENNEY - WILFONG.
These families were from Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Kentucky, Kansas and Spokane, Washington. Especially interested in Barbour and Upshur counties in WV and the Circleville area of Ohio.
I am seeking information on Mary Shaner Mckenzie. Mary was last found in the Circleville, Pickaway County, Ohio census in 1900.
Any information will be helpful. Will also exchange information.
I am the proud ninth great granddaughter of George Soule, signer of the Mayflower Compact.
If you choose to take my personal family photos to use in your public tree, please give me the proper credit on your site.

Burial location of David and Nancy Bennett Crull; Crull (Abandon) Cemetery, Jefferson, Scioto, Ohio.
David born circa 1751 Germany and died in Scioto County, Ohio about 1826.
Nancy was born 1760 in Morgan County, Virginia; Location now known as West Virginia. She died on 2 Jul 1830 in Scioto County, Ohio.
No stone has been found in the cemetery, but many of the stone markers have been knocked down and have been covered over thru the years. I always plan to probe the entire cemetery but after having 2 heart attacks and 2 small strokes, it seems it will not be done by me. I also suffer from memory loss. If I don't write it down immediately, I WILL forget it.
I know David's father and mother were, Martin and Lottie Lotz Crull. Nancy Ann Bennett's parents were Charles and Martha Collins Bennett. If I have repeated this information before, please understand why.

I am please to meet you. Nancy Crull is my 1st cousin a few times remove; or another way to put it is her father John C. Crull and my 3rd great grandfather, Charles Crull were brothers. Their father was David and Nancy Ann Bennett Crull.
Your John C was the youngest of 8 children born to David and Nancy Ann. Nancy also went by the name of Ann. I have property documents referring to her as Ann Crull.
Hope this helps.

No problem!! Memorials are always better served when maintained by family. :) I'm glad they were available for you to find.

Hi, Nancy -
You are so welcome on the photos.
I haven't been on in awhile and noticed a discrepency in the notes on my great great grandfather Francis Marion Watkins.
Death reads as: Feb. 11, 1910, yet the below has him in the Civil war as 1961?
"Civil War Service: Mustered into service as a Private, Dec. 18, 1961, Co. I, 11th West Virginia Infantry; Wounded at the Second Battle of Kernstown (Winchester) on July 24, 1864."
I hope you reply because I have two other relative gravesites that I have searched and searched for and cannot find.
