Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am recording the cemeteries in the southern twin cities area where I live. Also, since I lived in the Madison Mn area as a farm boy, I am photographing and recording the Lac qui Parle cemeteries whenever I go out to visit.

I encourage anyone to ask me to transfer management of any grave entities I have started. Just send me a note with the Marker ID and your member ID.

I would like you to participate by including your research into these memorials. Please use the Edit feature to send me your data whereupon I will gladly accept it. We are in this together to make these memorial as accurate as possible.

If you have uploaded a better picture to a memorial that I manage, send me a note and I will remove mine.

RE: Isaac H Macy
Good morning Rob,
So nice to have a picture of Isaac's stone.
I changed the cemetery to Augusta. As for Katherine, oral family history indicated that she was buried with Isaac. I will continue to search and for right now will indicate burial unknown on the memorial.
I appreciate the additional information on her spouses.
Thanks, Rita

Mary never married. Her name was Grove when she was born. Her mother died very young & the children were all adopted out. Mary's adopted name was/is Moe. Her sister Kathryn Grove Johnson married my cousin Selmer Steffenson.

RE: Duplicate Marietta Cemetery
Hello Robert,

Thanks for your email and sorry for the delay in responding.

It looks like the Chadwick memorial has already been changed to Augusta Cemetery. Additionally, I cannot find Marietta in MN when performing a search. Perhaps you have already contacted the administrator at Find a Grave to resolve this. Thanks for taking the tombstone photo for Ms. Chadwick.

Kind regards,
Debbie

re: Duplicate Marietta Cemetery
Debbie,
I have discovered that the Marietta Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2335252 and Augusta Cemetery http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&GRid=147704427&CRid=81865& are the same.

I had photographed and entered all the remaining markers for Augusta Cemetery when I discovered that 9 of them were also entered into the Marietta Cemetery. The cemetery in question is about 2 miles north of Marietta in Augusta township. There is no marker on the cemetery and I do not know the actual name.

I am passionate about getting our loved one's markers and history accurate on the internet. I have no relatives in this cemetery.

Marietta cemetery has 9 entries.
Augusta cemetery has 1,375 entries.

I would like to get your advice on how the cemeteries can be merged.

You had entered Vickie Lea Goos Chadwick
Find A Grave Memorial# 112595647 at Marietta before I entered the my 147704427 at Augusta.

I would propose that you re-enter Vickie Lea Goos Chadwick into the Augusta Cemetery. Use the information and pictures I have entered in mine. Then I will delete my entry.

What do you think?

LAU changes
Thanks for that AWESOME catch on the mistake I made with the LAU graves! I know the STRUCK name too.

August came from Freeborn County, MN where his father is buried and his mother is buried where the family first came to America in Dodge Co., WI.

Happy hunting. Patti Low

Robert,

Thanks again for Beth's transfer. I'll work hard to get additional data and also offer the memorial to family.

Lund
Hello, Robert Dove...

It appears that you & my husband are probably related via the Lund line. I was delighted when I came across an old photograph that you posted of the Lund family via the Find A Grave memorial (# 43948746), for Gunder Johnsen Lund (1862-1929). I have two or three very old photographs that appear to be the SAME PEOPLE -- when they are older. Metta Lund (my husband's great grandmother, is also in these photographs. Thus, I do believe that some of the women may be her sisters. Perhaps we can someday compare our photographs, in an effort to identify some of the unnamed folks in my pictures. I look forward to hearing from you. Peace and blessings, CPM.
