Bio

Due to many ongoing health reasons right now, I am not able to do any research and making corrections is very hard.

If you are related to any of the entries I have made and would like them transferred to you please ask.

You can contact me by e-mail too at [email protected]

Update: Health problems are still plaguing me but I am back to doing some genealogical research. It really helps to keep the doldrums away.

Surnames of my direct line ancestors are Gray, Kennedy, Lemay, Brown, Cotton, Thomason, Ray, Rich, Lindsey, Clemons, Wilson, Chapman, Milligan, Henderson, Bell, Douglas, Adams, Clark, Bassham, Howell, Nash, Steele, Jenkins, Fowler, Abercrombie, Hyatt, Nesbitt, Lindley, Kellett, Hall, Owen, Pickard, Cox, Gordon, Hadley, Lesley, Jenkins, Evans, Weaver, Hyde, Hutchison-Harrison, Ussery, Pennycuff, Williams, Jones, Turner, Goodwin, Taylor, Mask, Blackwell, Christian, Cheisand, Bennighoff, Angel, Waters, Reams, Boshers, Mitchell, Neeley, Wysinger, Duke, McDaniel, Winslow, Dearborn, Wall, Hines, Herron, Merriman, Edmondson, Harris, Colley, Harding, Magruder, Cate, Cates, Dixon, Hudson, O'Daniel, Johnson, King, Robertson, Fussell, McCown, Martin, Phoenix, Samuels, Boulware, Clare, Edlow, Wyatt, Randall, Parker and Camp.

Some of those surnames I have research extensively, some a little, and some I just know the name of the ancestor for now.

I love the local history of Maury County, Tennessee and have researched many lines of folks who have lived in this area esp. Mount Pleasant, Tennessee and Sandy Hook, Tennessee.

I loved the days when I could get into the graveyards and look at stones and read them. I don't get to do that much these days. I have taken thousands of grave photos over the years. I am trying to get those uploaded to the memorials who do not have a photo. I am just slower these days than I used to be.

Thanks to all the folks who have taken photos for me and continue to work to get the memorials online where in the future folks will be remembered.
