Bio and Links
Bio Photo It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 6 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave.
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!

For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings

Thomas Wallace
He is buried in West Harmony Cemetery in Hartford, AR. I made an error in adding his wife Nancy. I put his number instead of hers as spouse and can't figure out how to correct it. His Find A Grave # is 41204811. Nancy's number is 41204831. Nancy is the sister of Tennessee Griffith Chronister who is also buried in West Harmony Cemetery. They are the children of Seth and Nancy Brown Griffith. Seth is buried in a cemetery that is not listed in Find A Grave. I am going there to find his stone and enter it into Find A Grave. RE: LGC Bud Goss
Thank you for finding this . . . 1875 is a typo, it should read 1874. Would you be so kind as to correct the date?

Thanks again for posting the brief bio on this much loved family member.

LQC BUD GOSS #28557898
Would you be so kind as to consider posting this brief bio of Bud Goss to his memorial page? Find-A-Grave #28557898. Thank you.

Lucius Quintus Cincinnatus Lamar Goss was born 11 Apr 1875 in Texas, the third child and only son of L.Q.C. and Lucy Goss.

He married Emma Lee Shirley in 1901 and the couple moved to Arkansas where LQC became a lawyer in Fort Smith and father of six children; Lucy Edna [Thompson], John C. Goss, James F. Goss, Flora Belle [Youngberg], Doris Lee [Martin] and Paul Lamar Goss.

When times were tough, Bud went to work in the mines to support his family as his clients were paying their legal fees with chickens, milk & eggs, sorghum, and such. It was during his time working in the mines he developed ‘black lung disease’ which cost him his life.

Bud was a much loved, well respected man whose tragic demise tore a huge hole in the family tapestry; leaving behind to grieve his loss were his widow and five young children. His son James preceded him in death.

RE: Sugar Hill Cemetery
Sugar Hill Cemetery is on, Tanyard Mt. Rd. it's located on, Sugar Hill Farms property just a short distance off of Hwy. 109. Titsworth cemetery is on a hill just a few hundred ft. to the south of it. It's a pretty good size place and most of the graves were marked only with field stone. It's so over grown that it's hard to navigate, and the cattle have knocked over most of the stones. Franklin co. library in, Ozark has some info on it.
