Hello! We are the Cemetery "Hoppers" Committee for the White River Valley Historical Society (WRVHS), which is located in Forsyth, MO and has been in existence for nearly 50 years. There are over 170 known cemeteries in Taney County, and we have transcribed nearly all of them, including the largest ones! We go on cemetery "hops" at least once a month, and would love to have you join us sometime!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION GUIDELINES: We will be pleased to add your additional information; however, as a historical society, we must provide the source for our information (if not found on the tombstone). If a specific source is not listed (ie. obituary newspaper name/date or death cert state/#), we will list your first name and FAG #, or email address if not logged in. By doing this, other researchers will be able to reference the specific source, or contact you directly, if they have questions.

TRANSFER GUIDELINES: We are happy to transfer if you are a direct relative and can identify to us how you are related. The exception to this is if one of our committee members is also a direct relative - in that case, it will remain in the care of the entire committee. (Several of our members have requested that their direct ancestors be maintained by WRVHS, in order to assure that more than one person is available to care for the memorial.)

HOW TO REQUEST A TRANSFER OR CORRECTION/ADDITION TO EXISTING MEMORIAL: Please click on the "edit" tab of the record you are requesting, and then the "correction" link. In the text box, let us know what your relationship is, and also provide us with your Find A Grave number (found on your bio page next to your name). PLEASE ALLOW SEVERAL WEEKS, as only a couple of members handle these, and have full work schedules; consequently, the requests are only checked once or twice a month.

Thank you! - Leslie Wyman and Jeff Michel, WRVHS Cemetery Co-Chairs
