Bio and Links
Bio Photo It has been a joy to work on Find-A-Grave during the last 8 years. I have tried to mainly enter memorials that I have photographed, because I feel that photo's don't lie. In our area there have been quite a few entries to Find-A-Grave using old handwritten surveys. I appericate the effort that was taken to get these surveys & the effort to enter them on Find-A-Grave, but the people that entered them made many mistakes and have caused families, looking for their loved ones, to not be able to find them. I hope that my photographs have cleared up some of the mess. If you need corrections please use the edit on the memorial. I will transfer, to releatives within the guidelines of Find-A-Grave. I do not link to unknown burials (please read Find A Graves rules for unknown burials) Location of body unknown is used for recent deaths where the disposition is not currently known. Final disposition must be determined and updated within 30 days.
My main family work is Meador, DeCocq, Sellers, Sanders, Graham, Turner, Lee, Johnson, Devin, & Stephens
God Bless Everyone that has helped me!!!

For some that don't get the hint. I am a Meador, My mother is a Sellers, My Grandmothers were Sanders & Graham. My G-Grandmothers were Lee, Turner, Stephens & Lucas. My wife is a DeCocq & her grandmothers are Bucklin, Johnson & Hastings

PLEASE DO NOT USE MY PHOTOGRAPHS on any site that you have to pay to get into the site. I took the photographs for the entire world to use for free!
I spent my time photographing, editing & entering them for their family so they might see what they look like now. I did not take them for someone that does not care about them one bit except to make a profit! Richard Glenn Meador

RE: Fort Smith National Cemetery Photographs
You are most welcome! Doing the photos has become my passion and I thoroughly enjoy doing it. I finished up taking all the photos for sec 18 today, but it will take me a few days to get them all sorted and loaded.

RE: Re Ealon Evaline Herren Garrett
No one knows where she is. That is our problem she left when her children were very little and at the time my grandmother was the oldest and they were raised by their Aunt Flora Belle Blaylock until my grandmother was old enough around 13 to be her "siblings mother"

A daughter of J.T. Herren
Would you have any reason for not posting my Great Grandmother Ealon Evaline Herren as a daughter to J.T. Herren? Helen O Soares kc6yxx@gmail.com

Minerva Elizabeth Nichols Shelton
Hello. I received a message from Find-a-grave that my edit was declined and information didn't match your information.

This is my Maternal Great Grandmother. She was the daughter of Manerva Elizabeth Smith Nichols and Calvin Nichols (Alexander Calvin Nichols) and Manerva Jane Smith.

She married William J Thompson, son of Henry and Harriet Franklin Thompson, in Mississippi about 1878 in Mississippi. They moved from Mississippi to Red River Texas and finally into Scott County Missouri.

William J died in Jul 1886 and she married Richard L Shelton in Sept 1886.

I have a lot of information that confirms this information.

Manerva and Richard had 3 daughters, half sisters to my Grandmother Alma Thompson Poston.

Regards,
Kay Eaton Estes
