I have a passion for photography and genealogy as well! I am slowly going to all of the cemetery(s) in our local area and photographing all headstones and updating them to this website.|
Also -- another FindAGrave contributor wrote this... I think it says it all:
Please note: This is NOT a numbers game, Nor a "who has who" game here. Some of us are serious about getting names & photos of headstones that are not going to be around and making memorial pages. That is what this is about, making/recording that person lived and died. Like many, I spend long, long hours either in a cemetery, or adding memorial pages to Findagrave.com. I would love to see some of the headstones of family members that were in the 1700 & 1800 of my family, but that isn't going to happen as many are gone.
It doesn't matter who has the memorial page, the important thing is that someone cared enough to make a memorial page to honor that person and that is what findagrave.com is all about. Honoring the deceased, NOT who has what memorial or how many that they have. Thanks!

Do we know for sure her middle initial was F? I suspect it might have been B for Boggess. There are other Boggess' living with them in the census records.
I assume you have your information from something other than Marian Hammers book as she only copied headstones.

Ancestry.com has some Indiana death certificates now, and I am wondering whether this is the John E. Patmore whose d.c. says he died on 4 Nov 1918 and was buried at Bellefontaine Cemetery on 6 Nov 1918. He was born on 7 Jan 1892. Born and died in Posey Co. IN. His parents were James Patmore and Carrie Wallman (possibly Hallman).

Could you please add the parents of Mabel to her Memorial? They are Henry C. Web Redman, # 84976120 & Francis/Fannie Bradley Redman, # 84975633, from Welborn Church Cemetery, Mt. Vernon, IN.
Thank you so much for doing this & creating the Memorial. I had lost track of her & did not know where she was buried. Her Cousin, Norma
|Reid Emde||Mary Beck Memorial|
Thanks for adding the Bellefontaine Cemetery Beck family memorials.
Please note that Mary Beck #63412787 died in 1935 and is buried in Tampa Florida so the Bellefontaine memorial should be deleted.
Also, please add Mary 56996405 and Francis 63412741 Beck as B Oscar Beck's 63403957 parents
I know you are very busy--if you don't have time to update the memorials please transfer to me to maintain.

John Mat(t)hew(s) 1859 - Sep.11,1952, is my Great-grandfather's brother and is buried in Bellefontaine Cemetery along with his wife Millie. You have the month & day of death listed for both, but that info is not on the stone. Could you please tell me where you got the info?
Don S. Mathew
|James M Phillips||Re: Pearl Cleveland edit|
Thank you for your work on FAGrave. I wondered if you could process the edit on Pearl Cleveland (Memorial# 64011721). I know FAGrave does not notify us of edits pending and not sure if you saw mine. Thank you.

thank you so much for posting his grave. He is my great great grand father. I have been trying to find out about my family since my father died and never spoke of them. I know Henry's father was Absalom Mackey a pretty well know person in Mt. Vernon and a captain on the river boats. If you know anything else I would love to know about it. I live in South Carolina and this is a task that is hard this far away.
