Bio and Links
Bio Photo I am an enthusiastic genealogist and got into graving when I started looking for my ancestors. I have since branched out and started doing graves of non-family members. Graving has turned into my second obsession. I am an active volunteer with the cemeteries here in El Dorado County and love every minute of it. I am the FAG County Keeper for El Dorado County, CA and am really enjoying it. Unfortunately, many of our graveyards throughout this country are suffering from disuse and neglect. I've found that Find-a-Grave is a great way to help preserve graves and cemeteries and also provides a way for people to visit their ancestors or friends even though they can't visit the graves in person.

To error is human, so if you find any errors, or if you have additional information on anyone I've entered into Find-a-Grave, please contact me via the "Suggest a Correction" tab so I can correct it. Thank You.

Irving L Davey
William H. Davey
Paul,,, My name is Irving L.Davey and have been doing research on the Davey Family sense 1990. The William H. Davey that you have connected to my William Davey in the Georgetown Cemetery is of no relation of my Daveys. When I first started doing research on my family I wanted to connect Constable Davey to my Tree.. I looked carefully for for many years and there isn't a connection in England or California. You can see my Davey Family Tree on Ancestry.Com I think it would be a good idea to remove William H.Davey from Find A Grave or from my William and Jane Davey Memorial. It makes it confusing to any future Davey family researcher.

Thanks, My e-mail address is on Find A. Grave. Irving L, Davey

Marsilliot graves
I will try to get you a full-sized, un-compressed photo of the graves; I may have inadvertently deleted some, after re-sizing, but will save what I can. Next time we're out there, I'll get a photo that I won't re-size, and send it to you.

Also, there is a "Lydia P" Marsilliot; there was no memorial for her, so I made one, but I didn't link anyone to her. I will put the photo of her/their grave (she is ossw Leonard (who also has a single stone of his own, right next to theirs), and then transfer management of "Lydia" to you. I'm/we're assuming Lydia is Leonard's wife, but we're aren't 100% sure.

SO: Fern L Nance Goddard is the daughter of Richard W. Nance and Frances Emily Veerkamp

I keep getting confuesd with Fern vs Frances, lol it's way late and I'm tired, turning into a zombie

I also sent a message to the person who maintains Frances' page to let them know, Hopefully I didn't confuse them too much with my sleep-depried ramblings.

Sorry I made a mistake in my prior message to you. Darrell Nance's other sister not listed is "Fern" Goddard, with maidenname of Nance . I'ts late and I can barely keep my eyes open, I apologize if it was confusing.

Sometimes you get lucky with that little extra piece of info a gravestone can give.. sometimes not! At least in this situation, although the graves are unmarked, we at least know where these family members rest. Thank you so much for all you have done on the memorials for these cousins and the for taking the time to locate and photograph the resting places for Charles Dexter Arvidson, Jenny L. Arvidson Levy, Charles J. Arvidson, Henry Levy, Charles Arvid Levy & Roxana Almira Dexter Arvidson. From here in Maine, you've assisted greatly in my cross-country research.

Eldred in St. Mary's Cemetery
Hi, I am the sec-treas for St. Mary's Cemetery in Chilton, WI. I see you requested a photo for Nathan and Cecellia Eldred. Right now there is 12 inches of snow on the ground which makes it impossible to take any photos. I will take them in Spring if you do another request.
