Wollett memorial This is correct an error on the above named tombstone. My grandfather, Scott S. Wollett, died on 15 Sept 1903 due to an accident on the P.V.& C.R.R. This occurred the day before my father, Scott Wollett, was born. The burial took place on 18 Sept 1903 at a cemetery near Three Springs, Huntingdon County, PA. My grandmother said that she felt water running underground at this burial place and had the body moved (in 1909)to the cemetery in Mt. Union, Huntingdon County, PA, where this stone is located. The date on the stone, 1909, is the date of the reburial not the date of death.
Russell Hoffman # 93002192 I was wondering if you might be able to check the photo you took of Russell's headstone. I believe I have the correct death certificate for him and it states he died in 1959 but his memorial has 1950. The photo on his memorial is small so it's difficult to tell for sure, but I do believe it does say 1959. Can you confirm my suspicions? Thank you
Jesse M. Weaver Cheryl, I am searching for a J.M. Weaver who went to school in Coalmont, PA around the early 1900's. I do not know if the Jesse Melville Weaver is that person; but if so, would you let me know if there is any family listed in an obituary...I have a wonderful one room school house photo with all of the children and the teacher outside...a note says first school of J.M. Weaver Coalmont, PA....weather that was the teachers first school, or a student...I do not know. Any info would be awesome, so that this photo can go home. I live in WA state, and this is a wonderful keepsake for J.M. Weavers family (or any of the students that went to that school at that time). Thanks
Samuel & Ann Sechrist Thank you for taking the time to search for Samuel and Ann Sechrist. There may well not be a headstone for either. I assumed there would be one since Samuel's obit indicated he was buried at Gilboa. Again, thank you for your time.
