|Sherlock||This member is now deceased|
Judith Baker, better known as Judy Baker was a distant cousin and one of my genealogy helpers. I met her for the first time near Newcomerstown, Ohio in 2014. It was so sad to find out that Judy died on April 26, 2014 with cancer. She was only 65 years old.

|Christine Wells-Leddon||Lakin and Cintha Wells|
Thank you for the lovely tribute to Lakin & Cintha. Although I am descended from the same person as Lakin was (Charles D Wells) my line goes through Francis Wells and his wife Nancy Moffitt/Moffett/Moffatt. Most family members believe that Nancy and Cintha are related (no one is sure, however, if they are cousins are sisters).
In any event, thanks again!
|George Evalt||Rickenbach Family|
I think we are related. My great grandmother, Sarah (Sallie) Laneta Rickenbach was the daughter of Jonathan and Anna, as was Rebecca. I was never able to piece together Rebecca's history until now. Thanks for that. You can see my tree at Evalthaus44 at Ancestry. I'd be happy to make another ancestral cousin acquaintance.
|Beverley Clark White||RE: John Fenton|
hello, Judy, as to Phebe Wells, I do not know any more than what you have about her....
as for Mary Fenton...in the Clark family history that I have it has Mary born 2 Dec 1779 d. 2 Dec 1807...she and Seth Clark were married 23 April 1797....
Seth married 2nd Mary Baily Smith, a widow with one daughter named Betsy......Mary Baily Smith was b. 28 Jan 1775 d. 11 Mar 1857 buried in Altay, NY next to Seth who was born 5 Oct 1772 d. 17 May 1851.
Seth Clark came to Romulus, NY with his parents and family in the fall of 1802. so he must have married Mary Fenton in Orange Co., NY....and Mary Fenton died after their arrival there in Romulus. James Clark, Sr. and his wife Elizabeth Boughton Clark followed their daughter Elizabeth who was married to Timothy Green, son of John Green who also was one of the early residents of Romulus. John Green and John Fenton are both listed as early members of Kendaia Baptist Church, as is Ezekiel Beach who married Susannah Clark afther the Clark family arrived in Romulus.
Mary Fenton and Seth Clark had the following children: Lydia b. 1800 d. 1800; James b. 1801 d. 1866; Moses b. 1802; unknown female b. ~1805; Thompson M. b. 1807 d. 1880.
I hope this helps you,
|Beverley Clark White||John Fenton|
hello, Judy, in your bio about John Fenton, you mention that he and his 1st wife may have had a daughter named Mary....they indeed did. Mary Fenton was the wife of Seth Clark, Sr. she died and he married 2nd Mary Baily. Seth was the son of James Clark and Elizabeth Boughton. James and Elizabeth and family moved from Orange Co., NY to Romulus in 1802. James Sr. died in Dec 1804. I belive he is also buried in Kendaia Cemetery due to the notes I have on his family, but there is no record of his burial. he was noted on the Kendaia papers found online as being over the cemetery project for the new church.
thanks, Bev Clark White
Quick question about Keziah Foree Wyckoff -- #14802348
Is the date of death 1830 or 1850? From the photo I see a '5' but then again my records also show that she passed in 1850 so maybe that's what I had expected to see ;)

|Garry Boice||Edward Gifford|
We have corresponded in the past about Bersheba Jenney and Eleazer Salisbury. Do you have any primary or secondary on the parents of Edward Gifford being Abraham and Lucy Sherman Gifford?
|Theresa||Photo of Almon D. Jenney|
I added a photo of Almon Jenney (10484662)and thought you might be interested in seeing what he looked like.
The date and age are unknown - they are from my grandmother's collection.

I wanted to ask if you could connect Ellenora Haines Gambler to her mother and father please.
|Theresa||RE: Almon Jenney|
Hello, Judy and thank you for the reply!
No, I don't have the Jenney book - I believe that my grandmother had that book, as I recall her showing it to me when I was a teenager. Naturally, being a teenager, I had absolutely no interest in genealogy at that time, so I politely allowed her to show me a few items in the book and then went about my usual teenage business with my friends.....of course, I am kicking myself now for not paying more attention, and also for not knowing the whereabouts of her copy of the Jenney book. My grandmother died in 2003, and prior to that, held an estate sale of the contents of her home because she was moving to a nursing home. I imagine that the Jenney book must have been on the bookshelf and inadvertently sold along with the other books, since my grandmother had left me numerous family photos, personal correspondence re: family history, and some basic family trees that she had researched....but the Jenney book was not among the things that had been left for me. :(
If there is anything that you would like share from the Jenney book I would love to hear it! I do faintly recall that there were a few photos of some of the ancestors in that book - am I recalling that correctly? I have an original photo of an elderly Almon D. Jenney, but none of his wife Zaida, nor any of the children, including daughter Viola Livonia Jenney, who was my great-great grandmother. One of these days, I intend to add photos of the family members that I do have onto the Find a Grave website, as I think it would be interesting for other researchers to stumble upon.
