I have hundreds of pictures for the Morris & Dwight Illinois area. I'm no longer going to post randomly, but will gladly help any family. I can also connect many of these families to each other.
The reason for my change is the response I received for transfer of ownership of a family member. Copied directly from the email recieved; "...but an employee for the cemeteries. We use the site to send family members to for research so we want to make sure the records (Findagrave's) correspond with ours." Not only did many of the "cemetery maintained pages" have discrepancies between obits, family records & grave markers, they are using Findagrave.com for business purposes.
They told me to post a flower to their pages with my email address for relatives to contact me. They also explained how I could connect my relatives to theirs, as if I didn't already know how to connect relatives. How nice of them! I will not support a business whose only concern is for their clients, not the pursuit of facts.
I will also try to fulfill requests whenever and wherever possible.
Marchand, Moran, Clark, Dougal, Beier, Hansen, Mickelson, Heinrich, Featherstone, Treblecock, are some of the names in my tree. I have lots of info to share.

 | Erma and Virgil Rothrock I sent you an email, but am also posting a public message. Do you have a picture of the marker of Virgil and Erma Rothrock...buried in Mazon?

 | RE: Lafayette Pixler Thank you. "Cousin Becky" did a bunch of photos and set up pages for all side family she found and turned them over to me. I was researching only three or four in my family line with no plans to dig deeper but the pages and photos are welcome and I have been fleshing out data on each from my files. May help others in the future. Unless you are sentimentally attached to the site I will be glad to take it over, flesh out data (though I have little new to add at this time). THanks for your photo. | LaFayette Pixler Memorial Photo Hey, photo looks great. I have been researching family in retirement and LaFayette was my maternal great-grandfather. Much family history listed on Find A Grave and the photos help greatly. Again, thanks. FHB. | | | v f
