Larry, I'm sorry to report that I did not create the obit for Larry. I used to live in Blackfoot and served as a volunteer photographer. I took a picture of Minor's marker along with many others in the State Hospital South cemetery that have been replaced over the past few years. My understanding is that when they closed the cemetery to new burials, they cleared off any markers that were present and leased the area out as a cow pasture. A few years ago, they started a fund raiser and began replacing the markers.
There is a name at the end of the obit that may help you in your search for information. I would be happy to transfer management of the memorial to you, so you can input any information you find.

|RW Faulkner||Daniel father of Jacob|
Daniel Heaston/Heistand came to Jefferson twp. Montgomery Co. OH, about 1801, with John Heistand, Lewis and wife Catharine (Heistand) Long. They lived in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia prior to relocation. In VA the name had a dozen spellings. In OH it was usually spelled Heistand or Heaston and sometime both in same document. Daniel died in 1821 when his children were young. Jacob, most likely brother of Daniel became guardian and relocated to Indiana. Daniel's children sometimes state father was born in PA - they were to young to remember. Their mother was born in PA, but father was born VA.

Thank you for transferring my mother's memorial page.
Does that mean I can make changes to it? If so, how?
I noticed Joyner is misspelled..
I appreciate your transferring this and creating it.
Have a nice day and a Merry Christmas,
