Bio Photo We live in Southern Indiana where we raised our 5 sons.

Please feel free to use any of my memorial stone photos. I seldom post private photos but when I do, please ask first before using them.

#1. I regret that I will no longer just hand over the work I have done.
Naturally, I will transfer within guidelines and will transfer outside guidelines in case by case situations. Tell me WHY you want my hard work given to you. And I am perfectly capable of making "extensive" additions or changes.

Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.
Transfer requests should be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Explain your relationship in the request! Any non-direct relatives (aunts, uncles, cousins, etc) are not required to be transferred. Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer.

RE: William Phelps
Hello - most of my Phelps information came from my great-grandmother, Mary Beatrice Phelps Moyle (dau. of Thomas Jefferson Phelps), who copied births and deaths from a Phelps bible, or from my own research at Sutro Library in San Francisco. But I certainly do make mistakes so your documentation may be more correct. It may have come from the book, “The Phelps Family of America,” 1899. The only other note I have regarding his death is that it was from cholera.

Best wishes,

According to the Indiana Marriage Index at the Indiana State Library Genealogy data base roll D-136
They were married 2 Jan 1844 in Washington Co. If she is not a relation, would you consider transfer to me,as she is a direct grandmother of mine.
Thank you again for your attention,

Thanks! We all make mistakes, especially if we're working in volume! One of the absolute BEST features of Find A Grave is the capacity to correct errors!

M. J. Smith
The gravestone picture seems to show the first name "Mary". The initial on the stone I cannot make out. Do you agree that the first name of M.J. is Mary?

RE: Amanda Rogers
OK, got it.
You need to move her to Smallwood-Rogers Cemetery
Old Landing, Lee County, Kentucky
**you can read the cemetery on her death certificate**
You need to move her husband James also.
They are both buried in his families burial ground.
after you move them both to their correct spot,
let me know, and I will delete my duplicates.
thank you.
