I am retired and I have always enjoyed walking through cemeteries and reading names and looking at pictures if the stones have them. When I found out about (Find a Grave) the first thing I did was check about getting a memorial started for my husband who had passed on July 19, 2011. I found that a memorial had been started already by a member of Find A Grave...I added pictures and more details about him. I have ask to have his memorial transfered to me. Then I thought about family members and I begin to take pictures fill in information about my love ones as I set up memorials for them. It ment alot to me! So I do understand, what it means to have photo's of your family or friends headstones with their memorial. | |

Since you added a photo of the cemetery sign, I am guessing he did not have a headstone?????????Added by Anita D. on Apr 23, 2012 12:57 PM | | | C Carter
 | James Harrell Thank you very much for taking the picture of James & Viola Harrell's marker. The grass was very brown when I was there to take pictures.
Have a great day:)

 | Lee Harmon I didnt realize that. I will check into it. I have been searching a lot of cemeteries on my search and I found one on someones property in the pasture with cattle roaming around. the stones are so old that you can barely read them if at all. I do appreciate your time and for doing what you do. Family history and geneology is a passion to me and without people like you the great phots would not be possible. Those places can be a little spooky to. Thanks so much. Have a great week.
