Thanks for the suggestion that the J T R stone in Melbourne Cemetery could be the footstone for Joseph Thomas Redman. As there are no notes indicating where this stone is in relation to Joseph's headstone, I have gone ahead and added your suggestion to the bio section of the J T R memorial, but will leave the J T R memorial in place for the time being until something more definitive is found.

Hello, Chad! So glad to hear all is going wonderfully for you and those rascals. I still am in hopes you will come to visit me here at the beautiful ocean. There is room for everyone, even though this is a tiny house, only 400 square feet! My son is here right now and he and his girlfriend have set up a tent outside. They like having a campfire and looking at the stars. Yes, I've taken to adding photos as I can find them. Sure gives me a lot to do and I like to think it adds to the memorial. I think of you often. So good to hear from you!

I thought that might be what happened. Bettie
Lee was born in St. Jo, Montague County, Texas.
The "June" that created the page is not the "June" in our family though. She evidently is just a researcher that takes pictures of graves and posts them.
I'm still researching someone every day. Love, love it. Just wish I had asked more questions in the late '40s and '50s.

I just came across the marker for Betty Lee, and noticed you have the name JOSEPHINE listed with birth/death dates. Where did the Josephine come from? I've never seen this name before and was just wondering. Thought I would contact you first to see where you found it before I contact Teddie Jo about the Josephine name.
As you know, Betty Lee was wife of Uncle Chris Cotten and mother to Gwendolyn & Joyce. After Chris & Betty Lee divorced he married Dorothy and they had Coral June.
Just trying to keep with any documentation to keep files up-to-date.
Hope all is well with you. Fine here in Texas.

Hi Chad, I just read your bio on Reuben Redmond who is now buried in the Melbourne Cemetery. I had heard about this cemetery about ten years ago and had tried and tried to find it. Finally, just recently had come in contact with a local who took a friend of mine right to it just on 01-31-2016. WOW! He took photos for me and is going to take me up there in a couple of weeks. I hope to get a volunteer organization to tackle cutting the brush and reclaiming the cemetery; it has graves for some early pioneer settlers to this area. Great job you did on his page! Are you connected to Mr. Redmond? There are a couple other Redmonds there, I will be posting headstone photos as time permits.
