|GeeGee||RE: David Burleson|
Thanks Tom, but I think we must be talking about a different David Burleson. As far as I know my David has no connection to Tippah County, MS.

I'm sure you are very busy with all the memorials that you are managing along with everything else you do. If you have a few minutes...
I'm wondering if you have any documentation for who David's parents are? You have him linked to John Crawford Burleson, and many researchers have the same father listed - but I have not been able to find any documentation that supports it.
Nor am I able to find any documentation that David's middle name is Franklin.
I expect to be in Rutherford County, TN next month (for less than a day). Any recommendations for the best place for me to try and find documentation?

|Shirley C McKenzie||A Quick Follow Up.|
I sort of got 'lost in the weeds' as my son describes it. My question is this: Do you have a source for Thomas birth date as 1818? (death record/tombstone?) If not, would you change it to 1817 - the first computed date we see in the 1850 census? It probably doesn't matter to anyone but me! Thank you. smck.

Hi Mr. Childers, I am working on the Thomas F Ferrell family and found your record for him at the New Hope Church of Christ Cemetery. My question is about his age. You showed him 1828 - 1880 (I'm writing this from memory). His ages are all over the map. He is listed in 1850 in Hardeman with 1st wife, Mary W (Shearin) Ferrell and says he is 33, which would compute abt. 1817. In 1860 his age is still a little skewed where he says he is 38 (I should age so slowly. lol), but even that would be 1822. In 1870 (last before he apparently died) he said he was 50, which would be abt 1820. SO. Do you have a source for the birth date you used? Also, a source for he and Nancy's burial there? I would like to include it in the family notes. p.s. I wish I knew where 1st wife, Mary, was buried. She died shortly after the 1850 census when they lived closer to Bolivar. Thank you for all your good work. Shirley (Cartwright) McKenzie.
No problem. If you read my last edit request you see I'm just figuring out stuff as I go too and can easily, in time, make the changes I asked you to. Not to worry. Things happen.
So sorry you are having problems and hope you don't lose much. I always back up my computer info as I'm never sure when the thing will die or quit working or get a virus.
Hope it all works out for you. Thank you.

I am trying to figure out how a large number of my memorials, family links, photos, were deleted and replaced by other memorials such as the one you have listed for W. A. Alexander?
For some reason, our family's record on Find A Grave has been severely harmed and hours of my my work and efforts to document with facts, photos, and family links are so messed up that I don't know how to begin the fix--or if Find A Grave is any longer a reliable keeper of such records.
I am not blaming you, I an trying to fix the mess.
