thanks for the jelly offer but I don't care for jelly. the only thing I did with crabapples as a kid was have battles with them with other kids in the neighborhood. We spent more time outside than in. guess that is why I love being out in the cemeteries.

Thank you for providing this memorial. I'm writing you to ask that you correct the name. The name is "Patricia" not Patrick. The stone lists the names of three daughters of my aunt and uncle. Thanks again for all your work, especially at the New Germany cemetery.

You don't have to. I have gone through them and put in all the corrections. If you have photographed R, S, T U, V and the Mausoleum back there, then the whole cemetery has now been photographed.

RE: St. John's cemetery
Hi, don't worry about the new memorials.

How will you list the stones with no name?
I have been adding them as consecutive #'s

Unknown 1 Unknown

I tried to get stones next to them in the bio so I could go back and research the other stones and see if they might be related so I could get the unknown stone information.

Sometimes this does work maybe 50% of the time I can get a name from a death cert or obit because the other stone is a family member or grandchild.

Thank you so much for the photo of my great aunt's grave marker! Do you recall what section she is in?

God bless.

RE: St. John's cemetery
I talked with them and they don't have a map or section New C, for whatever reason we couldn't find it there. That's why I talked with Calvary and they have some records.

I also forgot to let you know I did add some "Unknowns" so double check those against any photos you have.

I am working on a spread sheet, so I am trying hard to add the section and and get a better idea of working on those stones not readable. Some times if you can find the stones next to it have an obit they might give you a clue to who is buried next to them. Like an infant or sister in law or grandparent.

RE: St. John's cemetery
I had to go back at different times of the day some times to try and get different variations of pictures for some stones. A lot are so hard to read that all I can do is go through old newspapers to try and find possible obits or death certs.

It's slow going but I have been able to get quite a few people added or corrected. There are so many of those metal crosses and don't have a clue who they are.

I am trying to get the sections listed so that it helps to document the cemetery better especially section New C. I have spoken with Calvary cemetery about New C and I might have to go back and see if they can find some more info about that specific section.
