Let me begin by saying that cemetery research and genealogy are much more than simply a hobby for me, it's a passion. I desire to capture the history of the every day person, to make sure their lives are remembered.|
In all my hunting, one of the stories that I've uncovered and touched my heart isn't a relation to me. In fact, she has no descendents of her own. Hers is the the story of a young girl known as Minnie Adams, "The Wild Girl of Brush Valley Township." If you get the chance, stop over at her memorial, read her story, and remember her.
I am more than happy to work with others to make additions and corrections to the memorials I manage. I very much appreciate when updates include the reputable source of the information provided. Unfortunately, I have been given incorrect information in the past and wish to avoid that.
I do take pride in the memorials I manage, and I do my very best to promptly make updates that are sent my way. I take that responsibility seriously and always appreciate it when others manage their memorials with the same diligence and respect. One thing I've noticed across the board here at Find-A-Grave, kindness when making requests most often is rewarded.
I also would eagerly transfer management of a memorial page of a person whom I am not related (primarily anyone buried in New England are non-relations) to a descendant. I do expect that if a transfer is requested that you are an active Find-a-Grave member and will continue to maintain the memorial and graciously network with other descendents.
If you have questions on Find-A-Grave Transfer Policy refer to: Requesting a Transfer.
However, please respect that I retain management of the memorials of my ancestors. If we are both descendents, I certainly respect the Find-A-Grave policy on transfers for siblings, parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In all other cases, I keep management of my own ancestors. If you are looking for a way to "gather" your family and loved ones together, please check out the "Virtual Cemeteries" feature on your profile. This is an excellent tool for you to connect your family together.
PLEASE send corrections/requests by clicking the "EDIT" tab at the top right corner of the memorial page. Then click "suggest a correction or provide additional information". For transfers please state your relationship and include your member number. I sometimes miss messages posted below, so you'll have much better luck emailing me through the "edit" function.
As for me, I am a work-from-home mom of several passions. Family, genealogy, freelance writing, and Bible study are just a few. Check out my bio here.

|Brian J. Ensley||Technical Question|
I have a technical question- how are you able to make certain words in your bios bold type?
|JNicholson-Turbide||RE: Thanks for all your work|
So you are the one doing the death certificates? Wow! Great job to you as well. It's a good feeling to have these folks documented and remembered, isn't it!?
Blessings to you,
|Bob Rose||RE: Ada Rose- edits processed!|
Re your question, I probably am as I have been at this project for over 25 years and still at it.
I see we are 4th cousins once removed.
Re Managing the Memorial's I don't have time to do what I want to get done. The older you get the faster time goes.
I was just on Find A Grave trying to find all of the folks that are connected and it just seems to keep ballooning out of Control. LOL LOL BUT, As I go along and I see something I can add or correct I am doing that.

Ada Rose- edits processed!
I am wondering if you might be the same Bob Rose who helped get me started on my Heming side of the family tree literally more than a decade ago. If so you mailed me a disk and print outs and were so very generous.
Same Bob Rose?
Glad to see you on findagrave - and if I have any people in your direct lineage that you would like to manage their memorials- please just let me know. As long as they aren't in my direct line, I have no issue transferring, as long as I know they'll be maintained.
