Sarah Shann (1810-1885), wife of Stephen Britton (1809-1885)
Dear Richard,
Thank you for photographing this headstone. Your work is a great help to those of us who live at a distance and cannot easily travel to these old cemeteries.

Do you have a personal interest in the Britton and or Shann lines? If so, would you like to collaborate on the research? Would you be interested in making a "rubbing" of the stone in an attempt to discover what else was written on it before the elements completely erase the marker? I've found that using shaving cream on the stone to fill in the recesses made by the characters sometimes makes the difference in readability.

Thanks once again,
Michele Britton Camera

Richard,

Thanks for the picture but it is really blurry. Can you retake it?

Thank You!
Richard,

Thank you so much for the detailed information on my Great Grandfather, Francis Herbert Kellar; it means so much to learn about my families history.

Have you found any pictures or documents regarding his Knickerbocker Photos shop in NYC? I know he photographed the constructing of the Chrysler Building but I have yet to find any of his photos...

Ragunda Cemetery in Sweden
Hi Richard,

I see you created a Ragunda Cemetery back in 2003. Did you know there are actually two by this name? I have photos of both churches and graveyard areas that I could add, but I'd need to know first, which property was your person buried at... at the old or the newer church location?

I am writing to the other contributor who posted a cemetery named Ragunda as well... I hope these are both different locations instead of duplicates? I have family members buried at both and I visited there during the summer of 2012.

Kind regards, DebraLee

John Hemwall
You seem to know a lot about John Hemwall. If he is somebody of unusual interest to you among all of your memorials, then I wanted to let you know that there are three naturalization documents posted online for John, beginning here https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.3.1/TH-1971-43481-8088-33?cc=2212212&wc=SF6L-RM9:1010138201,1060228501

I have no connection to John.

RE: I created a duplicate
Done. I added a couple of photos of plaques from the ceremonial area of the cemetery. Use them if you wish. You can just refer to my Find A Grave bio for any credit you wish to add.

I'm happy the photo has found a proper home. Regards.

RE: Louis Freudenberg grave marker
I'd be happy to forward the photo for you, but I don't see an email address on your profile. I see "leave a public message" and a link to a Wikipedia site.

John Staats Jr (1690 birth)
Hi Richard,

I'm working on my family tree and came across something that appears to be a misstep. John Staats Jr has a birthdate of about 1690, as modified by yourself. Hi wife was born in 1745 (Geertye Quick) and John Staats Jr in FamilySearch died in 1741. I'm trying to find the father of Rynear Staats, born in 1786, and his father's name is John Staats...but I don't believe his father was born in 1690. Could you help figure out if the birthdate for John Staats (1690) could be an error? Please send me an email at nathanapeterson@gmail.com.

Thank you so much for your help!
