I have been working with family history since 1988.
I am working on the Townsends, Harveys, Reids, Phinneys, Robertsons, Ayers, Blackabys, Saunders, Lakes, & Bagwells.
If I have a memorial listed that you would like transferred to you, feel free to contact me. I am not like some of the mother hens that sit on their memorials waiting for them to hatch, but I believe if you have more info than I do, then you deserve to manage the memorial. If you want or need a memorial feel free to ask me, and if it is not one of my family, I will be glad to transfer. If you are one of those people who does not like to transfer memorials or refuses to transfer memorials out of the guidelines, then don't ask for a transfer. If you are stingy, then you don't deserve the transfer. | |

Hi Ken, Thank you so very much for transferring Cecil to me! You did not have to, but you did and that means a lot to me!!! I do not have a problem transferring to family at all! Maynard Cemetery is pretty much complete at this time, still getting a few recent burials. There are many tombstones there that are unreadable. Simply worn down to smooth, also many in crumbles on the ground. Sad really. | | | William A. English

Not only does she refuse to transfer but she wouldn't even make some additions I requested when I used the suggest a correction link. She went on to send me a message saying that not only did she not have the time to update her memorials but she will not transfer so don't bother asking. I never even asked for a transfer. So I've come to the conclusion that she's going to have a bad attitude no matter what. Don't take it personal. I now just write to edit@Findagrave.com to request edits for any of the memorials she has control of. It gets done & even if she doesn't care if her memorials are complete, I still do.
Good to see another with my philosophy of transferring, bless you & all of your work.
