RE: Baskett
Yes he is possible return to the States for recovery. The site has not yet been excavated nor recovered forensically or archaeologically speaking. I am not sure the source of the information that has come to light. There is a concern for looting at the site, so I hesitate to provide additional details in public forum. If you would like, please emsil me and I'd be happy to correspond with you regarding further details. I appreciate your attention to the case and those pushing for recovery of the site can use all the help we can get! Thanks again!

Sallie and Richard Puckett
Dear Teresa,
Thanks for transferring Sallie's memorial so quickly. If you find out later that you are related let me know and I will gladly transfer her back. Would it be possible for you to add the photograph of the headstone on Richard's memorial to Sallie's? (# 65897374) I would appreciate it if you can.
Thanks
Dave

RE: Sarah Ellen Holt Moore Hinkle
Dear Teresa
Hope you enjoyed the holiday. I struck out on your schoolfriend Barnhill as Mom doesn't recall ever hearing that name. Wish I could have had better luck.
Regarding Robert Seay, if you have the time and don't mind checking when you go to the library, that would be terrific and truly appreciated. I hope to get back down to Carlisle in the next year or two but currently I'm using a wheelchair which makes nothing a given. All of the information I have which might be of value if you do check would be as follows:
ROBERT E. SEAY
MARY ANN SIMS
Both show POB of Ky or Montgomery Co. Tenn
their daughter
IDA GEORGE ANN (GEORGANNE?)
B. 3-13-1872 BALLARD COUNTY KY
If I read the weather maps correctly it looks like you're in for some ice and snow,so be careful and stay safe. Thanks again for your help.

RE: Sarah Ellen Holt Moore Hinkle
Dear Teresa,
The Longs that I knew were Charles and Rita, friends of my grandparents so probably born shortly after 1900.My mom did say they were cousins thru Allie but I don't know how directly. If you send me the name of your Barnhill school friend I'd love to run it by my mom,she really does have an absurd amount of knowledge about her aunts, uncles, and cousins in her memory. She also has told me she thinks I have another set of GrGrGrandparents Robert E. Seay and Mary Ann buried at Zoar. If you should ever run across such a grave I would love to know for sure. Hope you have a very nice holiday and again it's very nice talking to you.

RE: Sarah Ellen Holt Moore Hinkle
Dear Teresa,
Thanks so much for your reply,it's always nice to meet another cousin no matter how distant.Thank you also for the information on Sarah;s parents. I had seen the name Zerilda Walston for her mother but could never find any information. Now I know why. I completely agree with your observation on the mingled lines at Zoar and sometimes think it may be true of the whole county to a lesser degree.I grew up and live in the south suburbs of Chicago. During the depression there was a migration of Carlisle Co. citizens to this area. Barhills,Moores, hinkles, wards, pucketts,Hogancamps, and Longs settled here and all seemed to be related in some form or another. My mother is 89 and is somewhat of a walking encyclopedia of these people and other families from Carlisle.Along this line it's interesting to note that Sarah's granddaughter Mabel(thru Lula) married William Gobel Moore, son of James Henry 1883,son of Silus 1866,son of Lewis 1844. Wonder if there is any relation to Sarah's first husband?
Thanks Again

Phoebe Ann Quillin #50781877

I took the data off of the memorial about when Phoebe married -- but the link it came from is below.

It also shows her birth & death date.
