Your tombstone stands among the rest
Neglected and alone
The name and date are chiseled out
On polished marble stone
It reaches out to all who care
It is too late to mourn
You did not know that I exist
You died and I was born
Yet each of us are cells of you
In flesh, in blood and bone
Our blood contracts and beats a pulse
Entirely not our own
Dear Ancestor, the place you filled
One hundred years ago
Spreads out among the ones you left
Who would have loved you so
I wonder if you lived and loved
I wonder if you knew
That someday I would find this spot
And come to visit you

RE: Arnold Husser at Miami City Cemetery
Thank you. I think it adds a lot to the memorial and to the fact that he is not forgotten.

Thank you so much for photographing my great-grandparents' graves at the City of Miami Cemetery. For the longest time, it was a mystery to me where they were buried. Having photos of the graves means a lot to me, and I hope to be able to visit their gravesite in the near future. I appreciate your kindness ever so much.

Mr. Adlet,

Thanks for snapping this pic. I had requested this photo on behalf of a very elderly gentleman who is related and thought he would never see the grave. I know he will be thrilled that you took the time and fulfilled his request. Thank you for your kindness.
