Bio and Links
Bio Photo West Norwood Cemetery (WNC) is over 40 acres and some parts are covered in brambles and completely inaccessible. Ivy covered memorials can be seen sticking up through the undergrowth here and there.

Lambeth Council has an online database of re-used graves in West Norwood Cemetery. If you find your ancestors on this website, there will be no sign of their graves in the cemetery, and any grave marker on the plot will belong to the new owner.

I strive for accuracy but am not infallible. Corrections and additional information are welcome. Please use the Edit tab on the memorial in question.

For all other matters, I can be contacted by using the 'Edit' tab on any one of the memorials I have created, and then selecting 'Suggest any other correction or addition'.

RE: Ridings photo
Wow....If you have the rush...I would like the bit about Ridings...No idea of the "aunt" nor a family member dying in Nigeria! The hunt is on! Never know what you'll find.

RE: Isaiah Martin
Thanks for the picture of the path -that will help. I dont see the harm in leaving the photo. I do have some cousins who still live in the London area that may also benefit from it.

Thanks for the info. I'll try to make sure the photos are the right way round in future. As you suggest, they appear fine before posting.

Thank you
For the photos of Isaiah John Martin's gravesite.

There were rumors that it may have been hit during the blitz. NIce to see it is still there.

Would you be able to tell me where the site is? I amy revisit London day and would like not to have to spend a whole day hunting it down. :)

John Linklater /Norwood Cemetery
Thank you so much for the photos of John Linklater's and family grave.
That was a very big emotion for me to see the grave of my great great grandfather who died in Toulon, France, in 1870 because I was born in Toulon in 1954! I thank you so much.
If you need any photo of a grave in France It would be a pleasure for me to make it.
Kind regards.
Bernard Botta.
