Sacred to the memory of|
My Beloved Dad
~~Greetings from the great state of Indiana~~
The online memorials I've created are my
kinfolk. It's taken many years to find the dates of death and burial places for some of these individuals. I welcome all corrections.

|denise||Re: John Pitkin|
I am looking for a close relative of John "Pa" Pitkin. I have a small family heirloom that bears this inscription. I found you linked to the Reverend John Pitkin. It is possible that the family I am looking for resided in New England.

|Dianne||Evans Fairall Cemetery|
Jackson Twp., Muskingum Co., Ohio
After calculating many dates of birth for burials in the Evans Fairall Cemetery, I read your note to Shaun/Mucer99 and his reply. He did a tremendous job in that cemetery. He unearthed stones, cleaned some up, tackled weeds, etc., to photograph and record every stone remaining in this cemetery. Thank Heavens for a wonderfully dedicated contributor like Shaun.
Shaun contacted me for directions to the cemetery. He had seen my note to CJW asking for someone to go there with me due to my health situations, being afraid something might happen to me in such a desolate place without cell service. Shaun said he had grown up in that area and never knew the cemetery existed. My grandson who lives and rides a 4-wheeler in the area found it when out exploring. Knowing my obsession for old cemeteries, he took me there. I won't go into detail here, but I went back a couple of times thinking I could go it alone, but the terrain was kind of damp and hilly, I almost got stuck. Then....along came Shaun! Blessings to him for the preservation of this cemetery through transcriptions and photos. I just thought you might be interested in the story of Shaun and his strength to perform this hearty job. Sincerely.....

|Patty Valentino||RE: Thank You|
Hi JJ - Yes, Glenn Andreotta was a very brave young man, and I thank you for noticing that. God bless you and yours, and may you enjoy your weekend.
Sincerely, Patty :)
|Patty Valentino||Thank You|
Hello JJ Coppinger ~ Thank you for making a birthday visit to SP4 Glenn Andreotta, and for helping me keep his memory alive. It is very much appreciated, and I thank you for caring.
|Mucer99||RE: Rachel Acord|
You are very welcome. The cemetery is way out there. The township does mow about once a month, but the path is not well travelled.

|Rick Bachmann||RE: grave of Griffith Gartin|
According to my research, my Griffith Gartin was the son of William Gartin (b 1792 Monroe Co VA) and Mary Polly Williams.
Based on the common use of an uncommon name, the very close dates and location (Greenbriar county was split to form Monroe county in 1799), it seems very likely that the father of my William Gartin and your Griffith Gartin could be brothers. William's mother's name was Mary Thompson, but I don't have his father's name.
Do you have any more information about Elijah Gartin's other children in addition to your Griffith? Maybe we are connected?
|Linda Russell||Anna Spencer|
I am still trying to sort out who Anna Spencer is, and I am having difficulty with records and memories. My father, Howard Simmons, grandson of Cinderella Elliot Spencer Coombs, would spend his summers helping the Arnold Dairy in Somerset, OH delivering Milk. As a small child, 1955? i can remember taking a day trip to visit. Aunt Anna, Aunt Lyda, and I remember hearing of Frank Arnold and Will spencer. Can you help me piece any of these memories together with facts?
I wanted to thank you for visiting my brother (Robert Brabant) on his birthday! Your kindness is appreciated more than you know.
