I use to use chalk on old stones, and was unaware of any damage it may do. I no longer use chalk on stones. If anyone has a listing I placed a stone photo on in which I used chalk, and they want that photo removed, just let me know and I will remove it. As agreed by find a grave, the chalked photo's will be removed as new, readable photo's are placed on the listing.|
I just want to let everyone know, I do read all of the messages left on my page, and appreciate hearing that my efforts are not in vain. I am sorry though that I only answer the ones that are a question. I do appreciate all of your messages.
Thank You for your messages

Thomas, Thanks for trying to take a photo of Myron Weeks' grave for me. I am sorry the information in the profile was not accurate. Although he was unidentified before being buried so I wonder if one of the two other markers was supposed to be for him. I checked the http://albanyruralcemetery.org database and could not find him in that section either. If you took photos of the two markers you could attach them to myron weeeks profile here http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=115747773 and I would remove either or both if there is no possibility they are related to him. But I'm thinking one might be his "john doe" marker. Anyway thanks for your time and take care! -Jeff

Thanks - will do that.
One of his descendants sent our museum, the Clinton County Historical Museum in Plattsburgh, NY, a scan of all his CW letters and other information. Great stuff.

Find A Grave Memorial# 11674907
Would you please update William Cook's page to show that he was in the 175th NY Infantry, not the 177th.

Hello, Thomas I see your name all over Saratoga, New York. You must reside in Saratoga. Am I correct?
Love seeing your name all over, you are very dedicated to preserving family history and helping people connect the family dots.
Just wanted to say thank you so very much for your quick responses to the edits I sent you on the Pitkin Family. I sure didn't expect them to go through so fast!!
Also wanted to mention that I added a family history page (as a photo) to Erasmus Darwin Pitkin's memorial. You may wish to rearrange the order OR if you'd rather not have it on the memorial (some people have strong objections), please let me know and I'll remove it immediately.
Again, thank you for making the changes, the memorials look very nice!

Thank you dear Thomas, your help is priceless!
Your photo of Lee Grand Bird at Park View is much appreciated, Thomas. I've just posted a photo of the gentleman himself on his memorial. Thanks again! — H. Bird
