I like to walk thru cemetaries and have been doing my family tree, along with two of my sisters,for the last few years.I have three sisters and I am the oldest.My parents are deceased, my father for 33 years and my Mom for 6 years. I really miss her
I enjoy reading,crocheting, embroidering and quilting,especially baby quilts.
I really enjoyed walking through the cemetaries until my arthritis and asthma got worse but am going to try to start again in the fall, I also have allergic asthma so have two things that make it hard.

Yes. If you would please transfer to me it would be appreciated. Saw your note reg cousin John Gooldy, yes I would agree he was a 'character'. Thank you for keeping up the cemetery information for folks.
|Jan Kimbrell||RE: Faye Gooldy|
Are you a relation of Faye's or to one of the family? I was just 3 months old when she died but I have grown up with all the facts about it.
|Anna Jaech||Nancy Hill|
Woops! I had forgotten that Nancy had step siblings. That was not discussed all thru HS. We found out when she died. Sorry I was not clear. Her husband Loren was transferred from Columbia to KC & they moved the week Nancy died. They showed no mercy. When everything was on the van but her bed Loren carried her to the car & off they went. It was brutal. The woman you mention would be Nancy's niece, not daughter. Sorry, but I had completely forgotten.
|Anna Jaech||Verda Hill|
5 times. I had no idea. Nancy died of a very quick cancer when she was about 40. I helped her as much as I possibly could. The week she died her husband was transferred from Columbia to KC. She stayed in her bed until the last minute, then they threw it on the truck. It was unthinkable. Nancy was very very sick. Roberta Cupp & I took Verda to KC for their last visit, the day before Nancy died. Her children were around ten, & virtually alone in KC. Verda way WAY to old to help them. I've wondered about them for years. What is the daughter's name? I wonder if she would like to come to our 50th class reunion. Everyone loved Nancy. She was very special.
Thank you so much for telling me!

Great to hear your voice! I read thru some of the queries you've received in the past few weeks. You do so much for so many people. That's really wonderful.
I thought you might know Verda Hill. She worked for years at State as a hair dresser & had a wry sense of humor. Like you, I enjoy the changes of seasons. Last week the tops of the trees started to swell as the sap rose. First the maples, now the oaks. The cardinals are beginning to fight over who gets the most comely lady.... That's the news from our neck of the woods.
Take care, Annie
|Deborah Giddings||James Henry Hunt|
I think there are 2 entries for this person, James Henry Hunt. You have him listed as full name with lots of information. Another person has indexed him a J Henry Hunt with a Find A Grave # 32138981. I don't know if this is correction or merge that can be done, but given the birth and death dates are identical, I think they are one.

|Sam Nigliazzo||Joseph Mings|
How are you related to Joseph Mings? He is my 4th Great-Grandfather. I currently live in Brighton, MO., about 10 miles north of Springfield, MO. Joseph is from my mothers side of my family, the Prewitt's.
Hope to hear back from you.

|Jane Billingsley||RE: Lehman|
Thanks so much Marsha. That means so much to me. My family is John Joseph Lehman, wife, Mary Ann with children, August, Jacob, Charles, Joseph, William, Mary Ann, and Annie.... They originally were coal miners and I have a copy of a plat of land they owned (I believe in 1876). They then sold and delivered coal and lime. Later, they had the Lehman Hotel. The brothers then did masonry work and I noticed August bid on paving a highway in Fulton which I believe he won. I have 1 picture that may be of John and Mary Ann given me by a cousin, but her brother told her the picture was of ancestors from the other side of their family; so, we really don't know. I just long for family pictures, a picture of the Hotel, any wills, death certificates, grave sites, etc. In spite of all my research, I have also been unable to find that magic link back to Switzerland. I would be glad to add you as a guest on my ancestry.com tree, if that would help and/or if you're interested. I would have to know an email I could send it to.
I enjoy doing research too and do all I can on-line. I wish I could visit Fulton, but my husband is disabled and it makes travel difficult for me. We are hopeful his condition will improve and we can travel some. In the meantime, anything you can do to help would be most appreciated.
