Bio Photo I am a full fledged genealogy junkie!! I have researched every line of my family and that of my husband over the past 20+ years. Some of my family names include but are not way limited to... ABBEY, BARRETT, DUNKIN, WELCH, STANLEY, REDMAN, SHARP, LEERIGHT, CHEAIRS, COOPER, BATTLE. My husbands lines includes but not limited to PRESCOTT, O'CONNOR, ALLEN, POOL, SANDEL, NAUL, ASKEW, JOHNSTON, WEAVER. I even have my ex-husbands family that I have researched.. see yold ya I was a genealogy junkie! lol

In addition to my own personal research,I also do transcription for the World Archives Project, and also do grave transcription for and hold the record for the more graves transcribed in one day! (over 1200)

I have found many of my ancestors listed on FindAGrave and find it to be an invaluable tool!

While your here and if you have a few minutes, please visit my mother's memorial. My mother,Sheila Abbey, was an AMAZING woman and my best friend. I miss her more with each passing year. I love you mommy ;o)

FREEDOM IS NOT FREE! Never forget those men and women who are serving and have served this great nation.

Royal Cecil Stanley
I see you have a request for Royal on the Zavalla, TX cemetery. I'm his nephew and have just ordered a VA headstone for him. It should be delivered and installed within the next 90 days.

May I ask your connection to Royal? I would like to find his children as we lost contact after Royal passed away.

Which wife is in the picture with Joseph Pinkeard Stanley?
(The spelling of his middle name he did on a draft notification)

Lord Arnold
Family Ancestry
Hello Michelle,

I am doing a lot of research on my family's past & happened to run across you in the process. I noticed that you had mentioned that you have been tracing your family for some time now, so I figured I would write to you.
I was wondering if you have traced back very far on the Arnold side? If so, I may want to pick your brain a bit if you don't mind lol.
My side of the Arnold family came from somewhere in Virginia shortly after the American Revolution & settled in KY with several people from the same regiment they fought with. The county was actually named after the guy that lead them in battle, Col Peter Muhlenberg. Part of my family later went to Pike County, Indiana which is where I am having a slight problem, as well as the family that stayed in Virginia.
I hope to hear from you soon, thank you for your time,

Does your husband have any ALLEN's in California or Canada? I am asking because my ex does and since I am working on our children's family tree it involves his side too.

Thanks for your efforts in locating this marker.
I made a notation on his memorial page that no gravestone was located.
Kind regards,

RE: Beard in Splendora
Thanks that moved to Texas haven't made it easy on me. My 2nd g grandfather Elijah and his wife Elizabeth both died in Harmony, just south of Nacogdoches. I believe I may have found the cemetery they were buried in on my last visit...Old the woods and abandoned many years ago...3 remaining stones and a stack of stones against a tree. No records to indicate they are there...just a gut feeling. Their son Ransom is also buried there (funeral home records). His brother John and wife Patsy both died in Splendora around 1900...can't locate them either. There are several unmarked graves near the grave of their son Archibald Shoemake in the Splendora Cemetery...could be. I live in Greenwood which is just south of Indy. Thanks again...Chuck

RE: Beard in Splendora
Thanks...same directions I came across. Not sure where you are up for an adventure? I live in Indiana and was in Nacogdoches and Splendora over Easter weekend and not sure when I'm going to be able to return. Story goes William Albert Beard was in the lumber business and was killed in an accident in November 1893 near Cut and Shoot and was buried in the Boeykn Cemetery. His wife Sarah Ann "Sally" Shoemake Beard remarried 4 times, died in Midline, just north of Splendora, in January 1938 and was buried next to William Albert at Boeykn. Thanks again for your help. Chuck

Beard in Splendora
You recently attempted to photograph several Beards in the Splendora Cemetery but were unable to locate the headstones. Thank you very much for trying. I have found several references to a Boeykn Cemetery in Montgomery County but can't find it on Find A Grave or find any listings of who may be buried there. I found directions online and it sounds like it may be close to Conroe. Have you ever heard of this cemetery? I found a reference online that stated that the Sarah Beard you looked for in Splendora is buried in the Boeykn Cemetery next to her husband William Albert Beard. Sarah is a 1st cousin 3x removed. You can reach me either through this website or Thanks again for your help! Chuck
