My father was from Waelder, Tx , my mother from Gonzales, Tx, and I always knew that I would retire in the area. I found this site and decided to help with the local cemeteries. Once they are finished my wife, Sandra, and I hope to help with other cemeteries. Since we have taken so many headstone pictures, we decided to choose our own. The picture to the left is the back side of our stone. My gr gr grandfather settled near Waelder in 1881 and in 2008 my father and I applied for The Heritage Farm Recognition from the State of Texas. It is given to families who have lived on the family farm and and have kept the farm as a working farm for more than 100 years. We have realized how a site like this can help one find their ancestors.|

Thank you so much for your time searching for the grave marker of Ella Wallis Jay in the Waelder Cemetery. Your hard work is appreciated. I have been out of the country, so it took me a while to respond to you.

I'm sorry, we're not related to Auguste Baus. We photographed all the grave markers in the Comal Cemetery and uploaded photos for many memorial pages that didn't have them.
While doing so, we noticed that some birth or death dates are incorrect, or husbands and wife are not connected, or some other piece of information is missing or incorrect and we submitted edits to the memorial page with the corrections/additions.
Is the large family plot you mentioned with the large cedar tree located in Comal Cemetery?

Sandra, I was happy to take the picture. It is families like yours that inspire me to fulfill as many photo request as I possibly can. Also I love the heritage farm marker on your bio page. My husband has a relative in CA that has owned their farm for 100 years. Fran

Thank you for linking Georgia Wier Darling to her parents. She is my Dad's first cousin. Kindest regards. Macy Gay Wier Myrick
I'm writing concerning ownership of the Raleigh Borrer and Genevieve Adams Borrer #113626915. I'd like to manage these, if you don't mind. They are my Aunt and Uncle (1/2 bro to my dad, J.C. White).

Go ahead and let the other person have ownership.
That is fine with me. Thanks

Georgie Wier Darling is my father, John Owen Wier's first cousin. Is the other person closer related?
Kindest Regards, Macy Myrick

Thank you very much for these pictures. I have been wanting to take them myself for a very long time. I live in Georgia and have not had an opportunity to do so. I really appreciate your hard work.

Thank you! May I ask who she is I might know her through Find A Grave?
I've been going to Cuero and documenting Hillside Cemetery and a few others around Dewitt Co. I've retired from the Village so I have time to do what I like.
