RE: Grant requet
Charlie sorry for not responding sooner,(or did I?) I just found this message. Yes please claim those graves. Charlie I am from Greenville, SC and my grandmother was a Porter. Her name Was Myrtle Cornelia, daughter of Samuel A. Porter from Cherokee County, SC. He also lived in Limestone, York, and several other small towns in that area. He moved to Greenville, SC for a while and then disappeared after 1924. I finally found him in Independence, Missouri. He and my grandmother Nannie C. Thackston lived out their lives there. Do any of these names sound familiar to you?
