Hello Ms. Vicki, I have been researching the Bowden line for several years now. I am the great grand daughter of Ms. Elsie Mae Bowden of Paris, Texas. Her father was Bert Columbus Bowden and his Father was John J. Bowden and His father was Elias W. Bowdon Sr. The reason why I am writing to you on here is because I sent an email to you and have not heard back. I was wondering if you or your husband are kin? If so, I have more information/history for the Bowden's.

I'm sad that the gravestone was broken off of the grave beside E.W. (Also sad that he died when E.M. was just 1 year old.) :( - JV

Hi Vickie,

I posted the pic of E.M. Bowden's grave because it was next to a grave that had been broken off...which possibly could have been E.W. Bowden's. (I also included that picture.) Do you know if the two were related? The Mt. Zion Cemetery is in very sad shape.
