Bio and Links
Bio Photo PLEASE PLEASE read below. It will probably answer all questions and issues you may have with me.

First and foremost, please do not send me a private email when I have had no communication with you. I will use the format of the "Edit Tab" provided to send a message to you. If I have done so, and you feel you need to contact me, by all means, use my private email. If you send a private email, I will open it thinking I have communicated previously with you. If I find that I haven't, and your email is not one to my liking, trouble will ensue. Again, please do not send private emails to me unless I have communicated with you first through the "Edit Tab".

Second, please send ALL corrections, additions and requests for transfer of memorials through the "Edit Tab" located in the top right-hand corner of the memorial(s). I have disabled the "Leave Public Message" for that reason. Leaving a request through the public message makes it difficult for the contributor and is just plain thoughtless.

Regarding the memorials I post, if I have duplicated yours, send me a message through the "Edit Tab" stating so, and I will delete it. It was unintentional at the time. Hopefully you have used the information I have posted and entered it on yours.
If I have posted a short biography in a memorial, it is based on obits and research I have done, not least of which is through and the like. If I have copy and pasted an obituary to the biography section, I will do my best to state the source of the obit. There are thousands of obits I have cropped and posted to memorials in the photo section. Click on the picture and it will tell you the source. If I see that someone, like Jaxxon, has transcribed that obituary and posted it on the biography section prior to my posting, I will not post it. I try to respect the work of others and the way they want to contribute. I only hope I am afforded that same courtesy.
There a memorials that I have posted that have no gravesite. Before someone else gets their knickers in a twist, I am referring mostly to recently deceased. Let's be honest here, there are more and more out there who do not like or approve what we are doing here for whatever reason, not least of which is privacy (like we had any anyway). Obituaries are being posted without the disposition of the body. When I enter those memorials on Find A Grave, probably because they have relations posted to link to, I state that fact in notes. I have been a member of FAG for some time and admittedly posted some memorials without having the ability I do now, to find their final resting place. If you find a burial place for one of the above mentioned memorials, help a fellow contributor out and let them know so they/me can move it to the appropriate cemetery.

If you read this far, good on you. I appreciate this site and contributors here. I spend a great deal of time on this site and I do so for free, as do most contributors. Please show kindness and be polite, those two things will get you a long way in life.
