We have noticed that some people load photographs on Find-A-Grave and post a message saying they are not to be used without permission. PLEASE use the photos we submit if you'd like! That's why we put them on here!! |
This whole thing got started with her making a comment that she knew nothing about her family. It has now gotten TOTALLY out of hand!! We have now surveyed every accessable cemetery in Harrison and Mercer County, Missouri and researched those that are not accessable. Now we're starting to photograph them. We have submitted the surveys and photographs to the county GenWeb sites.
We enjoy tracing the "roots" and various limbs of our family trees, and are often surprised at the nuts that fall out! She seems to be related to EVERYONE. Him...not so much. We also enjoy helping others in their search! So if you have connections in either of these counties and have requests for cemetery photographs or obituaries, please let us know. We're not professionals, but we're not too bad at it!!
If we "manage" a memorial you are interested in or are related to, we'd be more than happy to transfer it to you! The exception would be if it were one of our own close relatives, then we'll probably decline the request.

thanks for your info; and yes, I found the John 1744-1817; in fact it is duplicated and I sent them messages saying there are duplicate memorials. However, I still cant find my John 1755-1855 who is reported to be buried in Greencastle. It could just be a poor reading of Margaret's grave; or it could be a grave I have just not found yet.
when you have time; no rush; can you look at your research for me? Have fun on your trip; Jack
|Denali Rose||RE: Margaret Gearhart|
thanks for your note, did you find John Gearhart when you visited? I also found Jacob, Jerome, Sarah C as well as Margaret. Do you know who Sarah C is and how she is related to john and Margaret; how about Samuel, is he a brother to John? Thanks, Jack WEbb
|Alanna Hall||Thank you for pics!!!!|
I wanted to thank you so much for adding pictures from the Hamilton Cemetery. I too also have a lot of family buried there. I'm related to the Hall and Ellsworth families lines. I appreciate all of the help you've given. We've never seen those pictures before. Also appreciative of anyone helping you too! It means a lot! Thanks so much again!
|Helen Nichols||Florence Magee|
Thank you very much for the transfer ofFlorence Magee's. It's nice to find a obituary from 1933. My husband's great grandmother.
|Ann Koch||Mary Lou Breer|
I just came across your listing for Mary Lou Breer and wonder if you're related in some way. I ask because I have a Mary Lou (Cantonwine) Breer in my Cantonwine research file (married to a William J. Breer). All that I know about Mary Lou is that her father was Hugo Cantonwine and her mother, Fern Ellen (Craig) Cantonwine . . . Fern later married Frank Stevens.
Mary Lou was one of eight children.
Her father Hugo was a wrestler with the nickname "Bulldog" One of Hugo's brothers (Howard) also was a wrestler.
Does any of this information ring any bells for you? Ann Koch
