Bio Photo OBIT STATUS 02/02/14:
Brenham - 1 requester w/ many obits
Houston - 1 request

***

I currently live in Brenham, TX. I have ties in the Lubbock area, where I am more or less "from". My family tree extends to many parts of Texas and the US South. My ancestry is predominantly English.

My husband Robert and my best friend Chris frequently accompany me to the cemeteries and help me out tremendously, so much of the work that is done on this account is as much theirs as it is mine. :)

CORRECTIONS & TRANSFERS
Please click the "Edit" tab on the individual memorial, then use the fields available to request changes, or to ask for a transfer.

If you are asking for a TRANSFER, please state briefly your relationship to the deceased in the request. I am not terribly particular on how closely you are related, be it directly, distantly, or as a family friend -- I am happy to transfer to anyone who has more knowledge of the person and is willing to maintain the memorial. I am also willing to transfer any memorials that I maintain that were originally created by a member who is now inactive/banned/etc. (I usually only have these because they needed major maintenance under the old system).

PLEASE DO NOT SEND CORRECTIONS OR TRANSFER REQUESTS THROUGH DIRECT EMAILS OR PUBLIC MESSAGES

RE: Cleveland Lee
No worries, I sponsored both his and Cheryls. I felt it was the least I could do /

I read her story " White Lies by Nick Davies and it haunts me Spirit Seeker. Are you familiar with the case of Clarence Brandley and everything that went down ? It is such a sad story. Her murderer has never been caught but they think it was two white guys at the school that day. (Also janitors )

I do not know why I am so bothered with this case but it haunts me.

Thank you so much for your information on Cheryls burial site.

RE: Buecherl/Beecherl
Thanks for the kind words and I am glad my research helped someone else. Sometimes I feel like I am the only one that is interested in this stuff.

BTW - My interest in the Buecherl/Beecherl line stemmed from research on my Harston line in Dallas County, TX. One of the John Loammi Uriah Harston's (my Gr-gr-uncle) descendants married into the Beecherl family. I think it was one of Martha Stubbs Dillard's daughter IIRC.

If you are from this family line I would be glad to share what I have. Pass it along to keep the heritage alive is my motto.

Regards,
Eric Harston

Here is the link for the SPJST Cemetery in Shiner, Lavaca County:

http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=cr&CRid=2529132&CScn=shiner&CScntry=4&CSst=46&CScnty=2662&

SPJST actually stands for "Slovanska Podporujici Jednota Statu Texas". They were an Czech organization similar to the german Sons of Herman organization. There are actually some other SPJST cemeteries around --for instance there is one in Bastrop County. They are usually just called the SPJST cemetery.

Another way to find it is just search for "SPJST Cemetery" under Lavaca County.
