Thank you for entering Helens Obit on her page. It was very helpful to my research. She is the grandmother to James E. Casey first born child, a daughter.
The obit is incorrect in that Helen had 7 grandchildren.
I see that you have taken a photo of the gate to the Highland Cemetery in Holt County.
I put in a request sometime ago for photos of Commodore Perry Brown and his wife Julia A Middleton but so far have not received any reply for them. I there any chance that you are in that area and could take them ??
They are my Great grand parents on my Father's side.

Thank you for your SAC regarding Amiable's father, Joseph DeRoin. History does not confirm that Joseph is buried in St. DeRoin cemetery. He was "buried astride his horse, under a tree marked with a halter" possibly somewhere in the St. DeRoin area. I'm a relative, and have done a lot of research. There are so many cemeteries in the area, including 5 graves in a horse pasture - I'm not sure where you got the information he is actually in St. DeRoin cemetery. I'm turning down your SAC at this time until further information becomes available. Regards, Suki Davey
