Thomas Prater was born in Marlborough, England. He was baptised 12/26/1606 at
St. Mary's Church in Marlborough. Thomas disappeared from England in 1622 and was found in Elizabeth City, Virginia in 1624 working for John Powell. He had sailed to America on the "Marie Providence."

i would love to hear what you have found on the praters. i have been researching this for many years and have a lot of information on this family. what i need are pictures and to compare information. thomas would be by 10th great grandfather. i also have photos from England that have been gathered by family members. Maybe we could help each other out. do you have a link to your family tree that you could share.?
