I am very interested in geneology, but most of our family is on the east coast. We would like to help others find their ancestors in central Illinois. My husband Wayne goes with me so we have an extra set of eyes. Feel free to use pictures on Ancestry.com or wherever you like..that's why we do this :)|
I will be happy to transfer any memorials that I have made in Illinois as they are not related to us. Please use the edit tab to do so. Please be patient, I don't always see them right away. Best wishes to all!!
If you have time, please visit my siblings and Mom and Dad. Thanks so much, Connie

Thanks so much for the photos
|Bryan Ainsworth Mooney||Ernst Richter|
Thank you for taking the photo of my 4th great grandfather, Ernst Richter's gravestone. However, it posted sideways. Could you re-post it so it is right side up? Thank you.
Thank you for prompt response, much appreciated!

Connie, good pic of the gravestone for Henry Keune. Now that the weather is getting warmer in Texas I may get out and take good pics for others. Thank you for your efforts.

Unlike American cemeteries, due to lack of space, the "final" resting places in Germany are not eternal. The plots are usually leased (subscribed to) for a certain period of time (20-30 years). After that it depends on the descendants (or the community if it's a famous person) to finance another period of 30 years.
If no family is left, and the grave is old, the plot is cleaned and after another rest period of 5 years resurfaced againand will be used for another burial

Thank you so much for taking the time to photograph this memorial. This was a family member that had been very difficult to find. Thank you so much!
