Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hi, I have been doing family Genealogy as far back as I can remember. My Great Aunt Pauline had me walking in cemeteries as soon as I was old enough to walk. My aunt Pauline Myers died in 2000 but I still carry on with her research.

This is a wonderful place to remember our loved ones and too pass along information to others. Coming from a military family I have been trying to record the graves of the Veterans, especially the civil war vets. Many of the old stones are gone but with a sight like this maybe they will not be forgotten. My daughter and I spend weekends finding old cemeteries that have been forgotten, (a lot of walking). We have also recorded cemeteries where all headstones are gone and the only records for these graves are recorded at the county library.

I want to thank Dave and Apple Dwiggins for the info on the Indiana Service men who were killed during World War II, and are buried at the Manila American Cemetery. See their web page here.

My grandma, Inez Rogers (Buried at Grandview Cemetery, Vigo Co. IN) died Aug. 7th 2009 if you have time please visit her memorial and leave a flower.

RE: Wester Cemetary
Hi Vanda,

I am. Tillie is my great grandfather. He had three kids, Russell, Jene, and Johnny. Russell is my grandfather. My mom would take him back to Caneyville each summer. They would go to the old church and school house, but never went to the cemetary. We didn't know it existed.

Wester Cemetary
Vada

I saw that you had posted a picture of the Wester Cemetery in Butler county Kentucky. We have driven around trying to find this cemetary as we have relatives buried there. The other cemeteries in this area have been difficult to find. Can you tell me where this cemetery is?

Thanks in advance,

Joel Underwood

Joseph & Sarah Long, Baumunk Cemetery
I added a screen capture I took from the Brazil Clay County Enterprise from 1900, to your memorial for Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Long. They apparently have a six-year-old child buried in that cemetery somewhere as well. I hope this helps your research and information.

PS - I think your name, Vada, is very pretty.

RE: Trueblood Cemetery
I've sent several messages to her, but she has not responded. Hopefully, you will have better luck. I hope she is okay, I mean she may have a family emergency etc. If we don't get any responses within the next couple of weeks, I wonder if we shouldn't notify Find A Grave admin to attempt contact with her...

It looks like you have a monumental task ahead of you! I don't envy you! Happy Holidays!

New Cemetery
Please remove New Cemetery that you put as being in Robinson it is called Robinson New Cemetery and is already on here. You also have duplicated memorials because of this so please remove and correct. Please and thank-you.
