NOTE: AT THIS TIME, IT'S NOT POSSIBLE|
FOR ME TO BE ONLINE DUE TO MY HUSBAND'S
HEALTH. I DO APPRECIATE YOUR
LOVELY TOKENS YOU LEAVE FOR MY FAMILY.
PLEASE KEEP OUR FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS
AND PRAYERS. MAY GOD BLESS
EACH OF YOU AND YOUR FAMILY.
I want to thank each of you for your thoughts
and prayers. Your kindness means a great deal
to me and my family.
I'm retired, doing genealogy work & enjoy helping on the findagrave.com website. I'm a proud Okie., born & raised in Oklahoma. I am of Cherokee decent, as my Great Grandfather and Grandfather signed the Dawes Rolls. I have been doing my 'Long' family tree for years and have found so many cousins online.
It has certainly been interesting and most enjoyable meeting and hearing from new distant family members. I have learned so much about
my ancestors and their lives down through the generations, I hope to perserve their memories for future generations to come. This is why I like working on the findagrave site, hoping to help others looking for their loved ones. I have found others to be very helpful and kind to share information.
My husband and I are enjoying our church, family & early retirement.
Aren't the Grands Fun?!!!
We have two beautiful granddaughters.
Madison, 10 and Gracie 8........
If I have made any mistakes, or
you would like to have your family
info added to their page, please contact
me and I'll be happy to add it for you.
I want to also say thank you for taking the time to visit my loved ones memorial pages and leaving a note for them. God Bless You
A Special'Thank You'to 'God's Special Angel'

Linda's kindness will always be remembered, she is
truly God's Special Angel.
A Special 'Thank You' to Missing*U*Always~

|Kittye Williams-Stuart||RE: Cemetery Question|
I believe there is a Paw-Paw cemetery, let me look over my books and plat map this weekend and I'll shoot you another message, if you haven't already gotten the information you need; for some reason I am just now getting all my messages from Find A Grave.
Have a great day

Phyllis, I got your name from the memorial for Cynthia. I am trying to find information regarding Dora Jane Bernard. I am showing that her mother is Cynthia Jane Long/Bernard/Maples. I have information where she married Maples but not the Bernard. Do you have any information that supports that Cynthia is Dora Jane's mother? Any help that you could give us would be appreciated. Cynthia would be my second great grandmother. Thanks again for any help. My email is email@example.com. Have a good holiday season. Gary Maret

Bless his heart...you and your husband are
remembered in my prayers Phyllis.
My Grandfather Frank Davis' mother was a
Catron...Ella Victoria Catron from Russell
County, Virginia. I had been working on Allen's
family the last 2 weeks.
So nice to meet a new cousin Phyllis.
Am looking forward to hearing from you again.
|Leigh Hinrichs||RE: Jane's tombstone picture|
You are most welcome Phyllis. :)
I cannot, however, take credit for taking the picture.
I found it at Robison & Blythe Genealogy...
I was shocked to see the picture on Jane's profile there...I do not usually have THAT kind of luck
when researching. ha
I saw that Jane was not totally identified at
her Find A Grave Memorial...so I did add her full name under
the picture when I copied it. :)
Jane & Lynch's daughter Bettie Hatfield, 1841-1925,
married my 1st cousin, 4th removed,
Allen Catron (Ketron) 1838-1925.

Updates have been made. I see that you have not been on line much, Find A Grave has made it easier to edit memorials:
How do I correct an error in memorial data?
You can submit updates or corrections of factual information for any memorial by clicking on the 'Edit' tab on the memorial in question. Be sure you are logged in.
From here you can select one of the following options:
1)Birth/death date, birth/death place
2)Relationship (parent and spouse links)
4)Plot and/or GPS
Suggest any other correction or addition
The first five options allow you to make the factual update to the memorial. Once this is submitted, the manager of the memorial will receive this information as an editing request and will either approve it or decline it.
The final option allows anything not handled by one of the first five options to be sent as an email message. Follow the instructions to submit your correction. An email will be sent to the contributor who manages the memorial page (even if that person does not have an email showing on their contributor page). Please limit the use of this option to no more than 20 email requests per contributor per week. Most of our contributors are unable to make updates on the same day a request is sent in.
PS: First five have no limit
|dbasile||RE: Long/McPhaill families|
I am related to the McPhaills by marriage--Diannah Long McPhaill was my husband's gg aunt (married George Daniel McPhaill). I'm glad to share any info I have--contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Also, I have a family tree on Ancestry if you want to take a look. Just look up Diannah Long or George Daniel McPhaill in the home page search box and look for the B&B Tree.
Always nice to hear from a cousin!
